Friendly and Very Supportive staff. We were taken to the hotel on the car free of charge by a big man who working at the new property.

1. The check-in is very confusing. We stay in Pinte hotel but we need to check-in in their new branch on the hill without no clear instruction. We climbed up to the hill with our baggages in order to check-in and stepped down to the Pinte hotel (Thank God we accidently met a big guy who working in the hotel and he supported us by driving us back to Pinte hotel with our baggages). And we found out a lot of people were consufing like us even we met a couple there and they said that they had had the same problem. 2. The fireplace in the room are a little bit high. sometimes we felt hot and stuffy.

Hotel was great in a super location walking distance to the lifts and train. The room was quite large, beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and kind. The breakfasts were an amazing buffet with everything you could possibly want. The only problem was the Hotel, which had been recently acquired by a greater chain, was down the hill and the reception was up the hill. We were ok with the climb but for physically challenged folks it would not have been a good place to stay. There was no mention in the reservation of the reception being in a different place. I do think that part should be made clear in the write up.

This hotel has been taken over by Bergwalt Hotel group and facilities such as indoor and outdoor spa facilities, front bar and gym were outstanding. We booked rooms at the Hotel Pinte and were upgraded to rooms in the main Hotel Bergwalt which were outstanding. The hotel is newly built to a very high standard. The buffet breakfast was also fabulous. Staff very friendly and the location being right in town meant access to all the sights and hikes in Grindelwald was very easy. We were family of 4 with 2 teenagers and we all loved our stay here !!!

The location was very accessible, the partner Bergwelt Hotel was very accommodating, the price per night was just fair for our last-minute booking and it made our stay so comfortable, it had excellent services, rooms so clean, and well equipped with quality furniture, soundproof, and the outside view made it all a relaxing stay. My car was safely parked overnight without worries. Truly 100% recommendable!

We were lucky to be upgraded to a room at the nearby Bergwelt Grindelwald so I cant comment on the the Hotel Pinte itself but the breakfast was the highlight of the stay with a lot variety, bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, pastries, breads, fruit, cereal etc. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

The Bergwelt Grindelwald location (where you check in) is up some fairly steep steps or a steep slope, it was tiring to reach especially after a whole day hiking. They do provide a shuttle service from the station on request though. Some rooms also appear to have different layout than pictured so its a bit of luck whether you get a good room or not so good room. The room we had was an attic room so it had a low angled ceiling.

This was a fantastic find for us. Gret price in a great location. The room felt very newly renovated, and was very clean. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast each morning was incredible, such a fantastic selection of food. For breakfast you actually eat in the sister hotel next door which is very grande.

Communication could have been better explaining the car parking situation and check-in. This accomodation doesnt have its own check-in. You have to walk up to reception of the hotel next door. Its slightly confusing so maybe some instructions and a map with booking confirmation would be useful

Beautiful boutique style hotel with large rooms, comfortable beds, very clean and our room had an amazing view of the mountains. Can’t fault the room or the services we had an amazing stay.

The parking is a rip off compared to anywhere else in the area or anywhere else we had been in Switzerland. 10/10 if they didn’t over charge for parking.

everything was great, amazing service from all workers since pickup, to reception, bar, restaurant, spa and all, everyone was so nice and attentive.

If I have to say anything I would only say that the spa, which is marvellous, in my opinion is lacking a small cold water pool to dip in after enjoying the great saunas(specially the 95degree fire one which is amazing)I know the space is limited so outside in front of the warm jacuzzi pool would be a great suggestion:)

The rooms are great, spacious and comfortable, breakfast is in the main hotel a short walk away but is excellent with a wide choice of items.

Pinte is an annex so parking is in the main underground car park which requires you to unload and carry your luggage down the hill to the hotel and back up at the end of your stay. Pinte does not have a ski locker which means you have to leave your skis in the hallway or walk back up to the main hotel block.
