The location is perfect, rooms are clean and comfy.

However our room was extremely warm, we were literally sweating in there. We even turned off all the heaters but didn’t change anything… The bathroom’s fan is waaaaaay too loud and goes on for quite a while, it was absolutely annoying. The breakfast is really poor, they don’t offer many options at all. Also, you were always feeling in a rush because the staff would start cleaning up already half an hour (if not earlier) before the actual time they state the breakfast is. Some of the staff was super friendly and really helpful, people that really know how to approach others. Older staff were kinda rude and not really caring about anything… Overall not too bad for the price!

The front desk staffs are very friendly and i am grateful for their hospitality. They are understanding and able to solve my problems. The room is super clean and i couldn't find any dust in the room. The Eiger view from my room is so beautiful. The hotel location is also so convenient because it is just next to Grindelwald station. I would recommend room facing to Eiger.

One of the restaurant lady staff is very rude and I noted she kept watching and warn in a rude manner especially on Asian tourist. Hope she will improve her service attitude or else she should not be in front line service team.

Great location in the middle of Grindelwald, thou the hotel is directly by the train station you can’t hear any noise (our windows were facing the tracks and we kept one always open and it was really quite). Staff was very friendly and resourceful - as a tenant you also get a small token on arrival (a tea filter and herbal tea) and a chocolate when you check out. Folks at the reception help with the parking and repark the car to a better place when possible. Parking places are at the top near the entrance as well as downstairs. Lots of shops and restaurants within minutes walk. A big Coop supermarket is just 2 min away. Easy access to the lifts: either take a train to the slope (about 20 min ride), or to the train terminal (1 stop) where you can catch a gondola lift (Eiger express) - very convenient. There is another lift about 10 min walk to the hotel or 1 bus stop (bus stop is right behind the hotel). Ski room has a separate access and can be open with the room card. Breakfast was good - loved the cheese choice! Room is small but has everything you need: fridge, balcony, amenities, TV and quite fancy coffee machine and a safe.

Not much, since it was very comfortable stay: I would still add the kettle to the room (we had our own so it wasn’t an inconvenience). There were no hard/soft boiled eggs at breakfast, only scrambled eggs, I was also missing tomatoes and cucumbers - but not so dramatic. Tenant’s are not allowed to take ski into elevator which is a shame as to get to the train platform you need to go steep stairs which is tricky with all the gear - would be so much more easier to take a lift upstairs.

location is excellent

we got a low level room, although we selected Mountain View, so the view was blocked by buildings in front of the hotel

We were assisted at the front desk by Camilla. She was very friendly and helpful. Making excellent suggestions for things to do, where to go, and how to get there. She had a very bubbly personality and spoke excellent English. A great asset to your organization. The hotel facilities were excellent, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was extensive and fresh, with, very importantly, great coffee!

Very cute and cozy hotel. We were concerned about noise from the hallway and room next door, but it didn't amount to anything. I wish there were more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu but it wasn't bad for an alpine region.

menus in the restaurant might have a legend to note foods for people with restricted diets (diabetic, low-glycemic, vegan/vegetarian etc). Given that its multi-lingual, but dietary restrictions are on the rise, often a legend with a symbol helps.

Super friendly staff. Central location point. Breakfast was brilliant, everything from cerel, toast and jam, bacon and eggs, cold meat etc. We had only booked bed and breakfast, however the menu for Dinner sounded lovely, so we booked. It tasted as good as it sounded..... Bed was really comfortable. Room was perfectly clean. The view of The Eiger was nothing short of Amazing! We have left for home today, but will be definitely booking up for next year for Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal. Thank you 😊

There was nothing I did not like.

A beautiful 2 nights in Grindelwald. The hotel was a 30 second walk from the train station which made not having a car very easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. They even had a sauna you could use for free with a reservation which was easy to make.

It was a little bit pricey, but for Switzerland the price was average for a nice hotel.

Good hotel in front of the train station and therefore very well located to reach the ski slopes easily by bus or by train. Staff was kind. Very nice sauna (requires reservation). Good breakfast.

The room could have been slightly cleaner as there was dust in a few corners. Would not go back to the restaurant as the service was particularly bad and very slow, the food was OK.

Great location, by the train station, which makes arrival by any means of transportation a breeze. Despite being so close, our room was quiet and pleasant. We stayed at 424 which was a corner room with view to mountains, and it was nice to sit by the balcony or even from bed to watch the Eiger just across from us. Toiletries were very nice, and I liked their environmental consciousness. Nespresso coffee machine at the room was also a plus.

Breakfast was excellent too but sometimes it took a bit long for eggs and bacon to be replenished. If you need to open the window at night, you will have a bit of traffic (car) noise as the hotel is by the main road entering to Grindelwald. The room was quiet if we closed the window.
