Although our stay was a little pricy, the room, staff, facilities and location where out standing. We got complimentary entry into Port Lympne Zoo for 24 hours and also Howlets near Canterbury. We also got complimentary use of a golf buggy to get around the grounds ( believe me you need it )and a safari tour included. There are several restaurants in the grounds to chose from for an evening meal. The breakfast was second to none and it was 'waited' served by a very good staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

The booking is not refundable should you not be able to go. I presume that if you have suitable insurance that would be covered.

We booked a treat as have two birthdays in December. My husband, me and my son stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the reserve. Customer service was really good and the room we had was just lovely, very clean and the most amazing bath that you could lie down in - a bonus for tall people! We had breakfast included as part of our package and it was delicious. As part of the stay, we had entry to the reserve on the day of check in and also on the day of check out - you could choose Howlett's if you wanted instead - the use of a golf buggy during our stay and an included safari ride. We took advantage of the black Friday deal and got up close and personal to a rather gorgeous rhino - the keeper was so knowledgeable and friendly and clearly enjoyed his interaction with the animals. All in all an amazing experience and we would love to go back. Thank you also to the hotel for recognising our two birthdays and putting birthday cards in our room - a very nice touch!

The green light in the ceiling of all rooms in the Charlie Chaplin suite - not helpful for sleeping. If we could have had the golf buggy for longer on the day of checkout that would have been really helpful - they weren't super busy.

When we arrived to the gated entrance we were met by a gentleman who asked our name and immediately followed on with "You are in for a treat". And was he right. We were guided to the dedicated car park for the mansion and from that point, we were guided by all members of staff who were informative, willing to help, happy in their role and nothing was too much. We ate at the BabyDolls restaurant that was Italian themed. We ate Pizza's that were one of the best we ever had. Again the service was exceptional. We stayed in the Philip Sassoon suite with a 4 poster bed, a room for changing that my wife now wants and a very ornate bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very peaceful. Highly recommended. We ate breakfast in the Garden room that set us up for the whole day. Also included in the room price was Howletts Wild Animal park that was about 12 hour drive away. Again an exceptional place and the staff were happy to help where needed. Honestly I would highly recommend and will be visiting again. So many options for overnight stays.

I cannot add anything to this section as we couldn't find anything over the 2 days we spent there. A truly amazing experience.

All the staff was very nice and helpful except for the check in lady who didn't seem to be bothered welcoming us or explaining anything to us.

The check in person did not explain anything to us besides making us watch a golf car safety video so we ended up trying to figure out everything ourself wasting time we were planning to enjoy. It was not very clear what is included/not included with breakfast. We were never offered juice or any coffee/tea refills, neither the toast which was included.

Beautiful views, delicious food of a high quality, friendly staff, and lovely bed linen.

At breakfast, nobody offered us juice, the table leg wobbled, and they said they would fix it but didn't. I asked for my teabag to come on the side as I like weak tea, but it came in the pot, I asked for scrambled egg but got poached, we asked for brown toast but got white. They changed the tea and eggs, and the waitress was sweet, but it was all rather frustrating. Also, my mum was offered a 2nd latte (which we thought was to apologise for the mess ups), which we were then charged for. I think this is very petty.

Absolutely beautiful property, stunning gardens whole experience was totally amazing, from Accommodation, all the facilities, food and drink, we had a truly delicious afternoon tea and a very delicious dinner in the Garden Room, we had free use of golf buggy to get around the reserve and the fantastic safari that we received as part of the overnight stay. Had the best time ever, we cannot wait to return. Thank you Port Lympne and especially to Wendy in the Concierge Team who went above and beyond and big thanks to you all for such a wonderful stay. ❤️

Bit of a trek from car park to Mansion House, but other than that everything else was perfect, nothing negative

We loved our stay here. AMAZING! The atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly, and the animals are really well cared for with lots of space. The hotel was beautiful, the gardens immaculate, plus the staff were friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. We tried all of the restaurants and the food was delicious. It was our little boy’s 2nd birthday so we had a lot of wrapping in the room which the lovely cleaners cleared away. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend.

Nothing to say here!

My second visit and will definitely be back. Last stay was in one of the lodges, stayed at the hotel this time... Loved the decor, the staff are lovely and had a great breakfast. All in all great value when you consider the hotel cost includes entrance to both parks, use of golf buggy, transport to/from restaurants if required, a safari and a great breakfast!

My only criticism is that the signage could be better around the park and the exit gate. It would be great to have more choices of affordable eating places... The hotel is good but menu is limited and quite expensive.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Beautiful grounds and great view from the veranda. Great rooms, beautifully decorated and maintained over the years. We gad a beautiful room and very much inkeeping with the age of the house. Delicious food in the garden restaurant, friendly staff and spotlessly clean.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Port Lympne - the mansion hotel is superb, the staff were wonderful and helpful, the location is great. Use of Golf Buggy was a bonus! Food & cocktails in Garden Room were outstanding. And having access to the park after hours and before it opened was so lovely - felt like we had the park to ourselves at certain points.

My one tiny (and it really is tiny) is that the heating was blasting in the room and overnight it got very hot!
