Balgavies Home Farm is an outstanding B&B. Paula & Robert are friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was spotless and rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside is spectacular. Breakfast was first class, i had the continental option and was not disappointed. The spa was an amazing, relaxing experience, the large aquarium is wonderful. I would highly recommend Balgavies Home Farm, you wont be disappointed.

I could not fault any aspect of our stay, it ticked all the right boxes.

The surroundings are gorgeous. The premises are beautifully presented and have been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Attention to detail is immaculate. Room was cosy, charming, expansive, an utter delight to relax in. All mod cons, working flawlessly. The four poster bed was enormous and the mattress was the most comfortable I've slept in away from home. Better than home actually! Breakfast was delicious and prepared perfectly. Hosts could not have been more welcoming and were a pleasure to meet. Pool and sauna exceeded expectations - very relaxing. Will be back again!

Had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous rural location. We stayed in the Poppy Room which was very comfortable, with a fabulous en-suite comprising of a huge walk in shower and large bath. The property is spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard. We pre-booked the pool/jacuzzi facilities during our stay which were wonderful and had the entire pool to ourselves. Paula and Robert were fabulous hosts and will definitely return in the future.

Lovely location close to one the beatiful lochs, so very quiet. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and good breakfast from our hosts. We did not have a chance to use the swimming pool but I could see another family enjoying it

Not sure if this is a dislike or just an observation: the road to the property is rough so need to be careful. Also , need a car to get anywhere , so not for those without their own transport

Excellent breakfast, prepared to order and cooked to perfection. Lovely presentation of good quality food. Lovely location, beautiful setting. Garden is beautiful. There was a deer with fawn running in the field... sooo lovely to see! Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly and most hospitable hosts, Paula & Robert. Highly recommended.

Paula & Robert went above and beyond for our stay, I said it was for my girls 5th birthday & if i could have our room decorated with baloons and happy birthday banners if I supplied them, Paula said she would order them and do it herself if I needed, the room was beautifully done up and my little princess loved her paw patrol baloons and the other 50 of them haha, Paula and robert also got my 5 year old a little me to you birthday cake too as a surprise, she loved it. Thanks again, pool and jacuzzi was amazing booked for 2 hours. Breakfast was superb and hospitaliy was amazing. Lovely couple and lovely b&b , 5 stars all round and we will be back x

The whole place is just lovely, and our hosts were too..loved the big poppy room. And bathroom. Pool is lovely too. Breakfast was delicious and surroundings were beautiful. Made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Was just lovely to experience a lovely stay in someone home..was a pleasure. How it should be..

The fact we had to leave after 2 nights. There is no complaints about our stay here. The entrance and the road on way up is a little bumpy but didn't effect our stay.

Beautiful large room with a four poster bed with a bay window just made the experience exceptional. The bathroom was clean and fresh with a bath and shower. There was a swimming pool available if you wanted. The room was very comfortable with a good size television. Great place. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The road up to the property pretty rutted and could do with some attention.

Just perfect. I have Never seen an hotel clean like Thatcher The poppy room is stunning With a king size bed,comfy linen. Amazing bathroom. Paula is very friendly . Spa and swimming pool Amazing. My only regret is to have spent only one night Very good breakfast.
