Clean, picturesque, great location, restaurant and food very nice, spa facilities excellent. Every single member of staff very attentive, friendly yet professional. Very personal touch from all employees they are all a credit to the hotel.

The only negative is that the spa hour on the morning before of check out is not very well timed as it is 9-10 and breakfast is 8-1030 so if you don’t go to breakfast at 8am you will lose out on the spa or miss out on breakfast if you go the spa 9-10 as no time to shower then go for breakfast as it finishes at 1030. So a bit of flexibility on the morning of check out spa hour would be welcome, for example up to 12 for the spa hour so you could go after check out.

So we came for a nights stay for our anniversary, the staff were all so lovely! The spa was beautiful and so relaxing. We had a hot stone massage which was the best massage we have ever had. The bed was comfortable and rooms were clean. Came out feeling fully pampered and enjoyed every second. Breakfast was delicious and so was dinner.

That we paid £75 dinner credit and was only able to get a main each and share a dessert. Obviously drinks is fine but didn't think after all I had spend we would have to cover meal bills and not get a full meal. The portions were very small to.. but the food was EXCELLENT to what we had.

Great service and choice, food cooked to a very high quality. Staff were professional and courteous. Evening meal was stunning food cooked to a very high quality and staff were excellent. In fact all staff from the beginning and throughout were friendly and helpful. We have used the Spa before but this was our first overnight stay. We will definitely be staying again.

Really lovely welcome, beautiful venue and surroundings. We also paid for use for the spa which was gorgeous too. Couldn't fault it.

It is expensive so not something we could do regularly, although would make it a regular thing if a little more affordable.

We loved our treatments, the hotel and situation but more than anything the thing that impressed us was the staff. Each and everyone were, welcoming , helpful and polite. I do stay in many hotels and I can honestly say that I have rarely stayed anywhere where without exception all the staff were faultless in their various roles.

The overall look and feel was top notch. The room was spacious with all the usual amenities. The waterfall shower in the bathroom was so good. I didn't use the spa facilities but the treatment menu did look appealing and I will consider on my next stay. The WiFi was super fast and I was able to do some work in my room without any connection issues. Added breakfast and that was nice too with the table service. All the staff I encountered were really friendly and professional. They look like a well oiled machine. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a little escape.

Perhaps add a few more options at breakfast for the hot plate? Also, the TV didn't appear to show the channels in HD and the freeview selection is a tad limited. If sports and movie packages were added, that could really be a welcome addition.

The general public areas were so well furnished and comfortable...The staff were fabulous...attentive..immaculatelt dressed and provided us with the sort of customer service that we hadnt seen for years of travel..cruising.. and other top class hotels.While be all of the above they managed at the same time to be friendly..light hearted and approachable..nothing was too much trouble and this relates to all the staff we met..in differing servce positions

I found the bed and pillows hard for me...and if our stay had been longer i would have asked to change pillows as there is a pillow menu available...and perhaps a mattress topper...

The aqua spa was lovely and relaxing, everything was clean and my daughter and I would do it again. The reception ladies both on check in and on check out were lovely and helpful. The hotel room was clean and the bathroom was very nice. The rooms were quiet not too much noise disturbance from the other rooms. The food was good & tasty (mine was a bit small) and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

The room was quite small and a little bit dated (apart from the bathroom) At our lunch our server completely forgot about us and we watched 2 other tables get served the main meals before us even though we were seated before them and we were sat with the starter plates empty until a different waiter came to see how we were. The drinks were quite pricey too. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing as it was left under the heater so long it cooked the poached eggs into hard boiiled eggs and dried out the bacon quite a lot.

Food was absolutely excellent - compliments to your excellent chefs. We came for spa and night away and amazing food was a bonus! Spa was fabulous and exceeded our expectations. Room was comfortable and cosy. Lovely Elemis products to use in spa showers and room bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.

Bacon at breakfast looked a funny colour ? been cooked a while. The entrance to the whole place looked very dated and had me worried - however on walking into hotel itself was pleasantly surprised thankfully! Nicer coffee/tea in room would have been welcome

What a lovely place! Would love to come back & do a spa day at some point as it looked really good. Staff were pleasant, our room was spacious & clean & the amenities in the room we spot on too. Can't fault this place - we'll be back!

Nothing to complain about. We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that, though we did think that £14 each for breakfast was steep - so we stopped for Sunday roast at a lovely pub on the way home, which we thought was better value for money.
