The room was of a very high standard, clean and very comfortable. The complementary drinks were varied, and great to have a good sized mug, very welcoming to see that. The evening meal was superb, with the member of bar staff who was on her own that evening, could not do enough to make my stay comfortable.

Not a complaint in any way shape or form, however I was informed that if I came down ten minutes earlier for breakfast, that I could be accommodated, as I needed to be at work by 08:30hrs. However, the door was unlocked at bang on 08:00hrs which made breakfast a bit of a rush. This was my issue, not a fault of the property. The breakfast was delicious, I just wish I had more time to enjoy it. The extractor fan was on a motion censor, which meant it came on, and stayed on for quite some time during the night. Not usually an issue, however those of us of a certain age may need to consider this.

Everything,Michelle rang after we had booked and was a really lovely lady. Had a roast waiting for us when we arrived. Overslept due to my alarm not going of,checked out late due to this, and there was no issues from the staff,really decent and likeable people. Nothing was too much trouble. Ringing for a taxi for myself and my girlfriend to get to the station and one of the staff members said forget that,I am going that way and gave us a lift. That's what you call hospitality to the max and greatly appreciated. We shall be returning very soon,rooms are lovely and adequate and for where the place is located,priced accordingly. Beautiful countryside and great stay

we loved the accommodation . newly refurbished lodges with fresh colours and very comfy. full English breakfast was also very good. Meat from a local butcher and eggs cooked as requested 👌🏽 local Indian restaurant (5 mins away) superb!

uncomfortable conversation with the owner after booking the lodge. I let them know I had a small doggie via email, ( as it’s ‘dogs on request’) the email wasn’t looked at and Michelle thought I hadn’t let them know I was bringing a dog. It was resolved in the end, but could of done without this confrontation and an apology goes long way, that we didn’t have, but she was very friendly over breakfast… I just put it down to having an off day. we all have them 😉

Breakfast was basic but as advertised. The location was good for me as I was visiting a friend who lived nearby, but if you were just visiting the town it is a little out of the way. The staff is what made this place. They were very helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable. The room overall was comforty and quite homely.

My room was right outside of a pub courtyard so it was a bit noisy, and a little intimidating taking a shower knowing there were a bunch of people right outside your room. But the room was private and of course good window coverings. It just felt a bit weird being a solo female traveler with a bunch of people drinking less then a couple of meters from where I was showering. But this is also to be expected for the type of accommodation this is, so it is not a complaint, just an observation.

We had a fabulous time at The Cowdray, the room was lovely, clean, modern, cosy, very comfortable and had everything we wanted and needed! The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Michelle who kindly let our grandson finish off the raspberries at breakfast Lol We had two evening meals and three breakfasts, and we couldn’t fault anything, so delicious! A big thank you to Michelle and all the team, we didn’t want to leave :)

The room was lovely and there is PLENTY of parking. It is sort of in the middle of nowhere but VERY close to the M23 turnoff which is great. Staff were all friendly, proactive and efficient. If you're going to a wedding at Highley Manor this is maybe a 5 minute drive, tops - very convenient!

The kitchen closes early on a Sunday so we had to drive around to find somewhere for dinner. We hadn't realised the window behind the blind had been left open so the room was freezing and the radiator didn't turn on unless you turned it all the way up to five. It's also quite noisy in the rooms if the pub is open as the doors are basically next to the beer garden (although not a problem in the evening as the pub closed early!) We loved that the accommodation was separated from the pub in little cottage style rooms. Very quiet and peaceful too. The staff were great, from the lady checking us in, to the barman and even the waiter, all friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was more than we expected and the food was excellent (both breakfast and dinner)

Honestly couldn't fault anything, just sad we didn't bring our dogs as they would have loved it...next time.

Had a proper country pub feel, The team were lovely, top service I had evening meal and breakfast both excellent. My room was very comfortable very clean. If you are looking for a good location with beer garden lovely restaurant and bar good accommodation which is good value for money. You won’t go wrong staying at the Cowdray Arms. To the team who looked after me Wednesday 21st thank you. Top customer service.

Staff on arrival very helpful as we arrived earlier than the check in time but we grapped a drink and some food from their fantastic menu . We were able to get changed for the Wedding we were attending in nearby Highley Manor and the staff organised a taxi for us too. Breakfast was sensational, a lot of choice to suit all tastes. I would highly recommend this B&B and I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here as last-minute guests when EasyJet moved us onto a later flight. We didn't arrive until 2:30am but our late check in was accommodated. The room (the Stables) was immaculate. Very tastefully decorated, exceptionally comfy bed, great shower. The full English breakfast was exceptional too. A great find and would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay/eat - the pub and its menu both look great, too!
