The hotel is lovely, in quiet and peaceful surroundings, with pretty views of fields and trees. The roads approaching it are narrow and rural, but properly paved, not farm tracks like a lot of country properties. The room was spacious and very comfortable, beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished - it's an older building so you get the advantages of big rooms and high windows, but it's been done up to a high standard. The bed was large and comfortable, there were plenty of sockets in the right places, and everything was spotlessly clean. We noticed there was no lift, but it's only a 2-storey building, so it wasn't a problem for us. There was plenty of storage space in the bathroom cupboards and the bedside drawers, plus a spacious desk/dressing table with tea and coffee facilities. A lovely range of lighting in the room, too. The whole building was beautiful inside, with a pretty sitting room on our floor as well as the main bar/lounge downstairs. The proprietors were really lovely too - friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Included in the price was a generous breakfast with plenty of choices, cooked hot to order, including perfectly poached eggs. For evening meals, the restaurant isn't cheap (although nowhere is now!), but you get what you pay for - the food is great, and the portions very generous. We only sampled one dessert, but all the main meals and starters were really good.
Nothing, our whole stay was great, and we would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a little hidden gem, lots of parking and spacious grounds. The check in was so easy and the staff were friendly and made us feel so welcome. We had dinner and drinks in the bar and the food was delicious. We enjoyed great relaxed conversation and laughs with the owners who were a delight. The bar is pleasant and there is a fabulous terrace area where you can sit, relax and take in the serene surroundings. We had a delicious breakfast served with a smile. There is a great menu, we chose the poached eggs which were perfect. It was a fabulous stay and we would definitely recommend to other travellers.

Really nice hotel and grounds, new outdoor terrace/balcony had amazing views to enjoy a drink on, kids more than occupied in the play centre. Staff were all very welcoming and had good knowledge of the area and nearby Abersoch. The family room we stayed in was really good size for 2 adults and 3 kids, bathroom with walk in shower and roll top bath was added bonus to a very stylish room with high ceiling and beams. Breakfast was very good too and menu for evening dining looked nice if we hadn't already had plans. Would fully recommend staying here.

A lovely spacious room with a comfy bed. I stayed the night before running the Pilgrims Trail Marathon and it was great to be able to see the starting point (Bwlch Yr Eifl) from my room. Nice bathroom so I could relax and take a shower before getting an early night. They provided a tasty bacon butty for a takeaway breakfast as I had to make an early start to drive to Aberdaron to catch a coach at 0715 back up to the start of the race.
I didn't realise there was going to be a party directly under my room, so it took me a bit longer to get to sleep because of the noise.

Friendly staff, very good breakfast and good evening meal menu too. Comfy, well-appointed bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of parking.
Initially tricky to find the way in and a somewhat confusing number of 'staff only' signs on doors. An option for an earlier breakfast would have been useful (8:30-9:30 is the time slot). There was quite a bit of noise in the room from the bar downstairs and from other guests walking around- very thin walls.

The staff were very friendly, courteous, and accommodating to any of our needs. The grounds/views were amazing. So beautiful and a very peaceful space. At the terrace, where we ate breakfast, we were able to take it all in. A great space. Good choice at breakfast and the cooked english was very tasty. Always good to have free parking. Our room had been recently refurbished (we assume?)and we loved the bed throws. The toilet did make noises after flushing (new pump system?) but not enough to effect our sleep. We both had a good nights sleep
My sister and I liked everything. Some of the rooms are possibly still in the process of refurbishment, so may look dated. The owners are obviously working hard to update these rooms.

The location was lovely and very close to Nefyn golf course and the sea. The food was good. The rooms were small but adequate for a short stay. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
They didn't start serving breakfast until 8.30 am. Understandable but we needed to leave by 9.0 for a tee time at Nefyn. They understood and breakfast was served very quickly.

Food was excellent, the location was ideal and the lady owner was friendly and gave us good local information.
Our room No 11 had a concrete beam going across the beds it was painted white as all the room so blended in but meant it was hard to see I walked into it once, it hurt, if someone less accepting did this they may well make a claim which would be unfair but I understand in this litigious society. Maybe look at highlighting the beam without spoiling the overall look.

The setting was very quiet with lovely views from the terrace.
A bit rough around the edges, just silly things, like not having Lino in bathroom laid properly, dirty windows and gaps in the wood surrounding the windows, no hooks on bathroom door, communal relaxing areas need to be more inviting (conservatory), stair carpet needs cleaning!

Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast and good evening meal. Tranquil location, tucked out of the way off the main road, I had no problem finding the hotel but do understand why some reviews said it can be difficult to find. No frills, but a comfy and clean well-appointed bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of parking.
