The view was spectacular. The amenities were on brand for a lodge. We had about 5 rooms for our family and there were plenty of chairs, swings, hammocks and camp fire seating. One night we all circled around the fire for s'mores and it was so fun. The office has a grab what you need bar fully equipped with towels, water, toiletries and extra fuzzy blankets with which to sit outside and enjoy the cool air. We loved it here.

The curtains in my room were a little hard to fully cover the window, could have better curtains. Not a deal breaker though.

The location was excellent for the value. We booked Meeker which has an amazing view of the Estes Lake from both the rooms and the balcony. It is a serene and quaint little place, with a convenient location that is not in the middle of the crowded city but not secluded either. It has quick access to all the activities including Estes Tramway, horseback riding, RMNP, Jeep tours, restaurants etc. The community area was setup beautifully with swings, hammock, barbecue and outdoor seating.

The place needs to be brightened up. Some paint job and even carpet replacement will make a big difference. I agree that the place really grows on you as you stay there, but it’s not that great at first sight. The carpet on the stairs and the balcony needs to be waterproof.

Beautiful view and property. The room was a nice size for a couple. The office had a selection of DVDs/books/games that you could bring back to your room- perfect for a rainy day. It was nice being just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough that it was only a few minute drive if you wanted food. There were also grills with a few cooking utensils that guests could use. Very good value for the price I paid.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. I didn't see any staff- the office was open 24/7 where you picked up your packet upon arrival or any extra supplies. There are phone numbers that you can contact a staff member if you need assistance, so this was not a problem to me.

we stayed the last week in August. location and views were amazing! short drive to RMNP. my daughter and I stayed in #20 and it was perfect! staff very friendly! loved watching the sunsets. great 4 mile walking trail across the street. if you time it right you will see elk playing in the water. we will definitely be back!

we loved the property. The only downside being on the first floor was hearing the occupants above us walk around (or dropping stuff on the floor) super early and late night.

The location was great! We had easy access to the Rocky Mountains and the room had a great view of the lake. We also loved watching the humming birds. When my husband go covid and we needed to extend our stay, the lodge was very accommodating.

The rooms were a bit outdated and the internet didn't reach to the end of the Mountainside rooms. We also would have loved access to a few more kitchen-type items, like plates.

The location was great, it was in walking distance to the Half Marathon race this weekend, has a great view of the lake, quite and away from the busy down town area and a quick drive to many places to eat, definitely would stay hear again

we were on the first floor and the people upstairs walking around which caused the floors to creak a lot and we had an early race so was a little hard to sleep, but it is an older lodge so somewhat expected

For us the location was perfect. The view from our room, getting to see the wildlife for example Elk, deer and eagle (yes an eagle) We are in our sixties, so only a couple of steps. The fireplace in our room, great addition.

A king size bed would have been nice. Our bed which was queen size could have been more comfortable. Also, was a little over priced compared to other locations we stayed.

Location was great, we did not get offered any breakfast.

Breakfast would have been nice, folks walking above us keep us up most of the night. Bought fire wood and there was no fire poker. The dry spruce wood melted fast. Wife mentioned that curtains were to sheer, could see in room at night with light on.

It was cozy and great kitchen area. Beautiful views. Staff were nice and let me know I could check in early. Out back there was a hammock and wood swing and other places to sit and have a fire.

Shower pressure was very weak. Paint chipping in places. It was very windy that day.

Great location, near the town but far enough that you feel like you are in the park ! Easy checkin/check out

Being on the main road into Estes Park was the only downside, we weren’t there at the “busy season” but traffic was noticeable
