Overall the property exceeded my expectations and I I definitely recommend staying there. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The amenities like the playground, corn hole and pool provided entertainment after a day of hiking in the Rockies. We enjoyed the live music in the evenings. Not only was it good, the musician played at the right volume so that we could enjoy it while outside but it did not interfere when it came time to putting our son to bed in our room. The room was clean, good size. We took advantage of borrowing a DVD from the large selection of movies available for a family movie night. The way the property is laid out with all the outdoor amenities being internal to/ in middle of the property and not near the road so I felt comfortable allowing my 8 year old out to play on the swings while my husband and I got ready in AM or unpacked after hiking in the afternoon. It is a good property for families traveling with kids. I also appreciated the follow up after booking, the call from hotel staff confirming the dates, the text message the day before confirming my stay, etc. Made me feel comfortable that everything was organized especially since we booked through a 3rd party site.

The continental breakfast was sufficient for getting ready for a day in the park with the yogurt, granola bars, hard boiled eggs, toast, bananas, etc. but I do wish there were a few additional options, even having cold cereal would be enough. Having corn flakes or Cheerios would make a great addition to breakfast especially for those traveling with kids.

Room was spacious and clean. We booked a suite and it has two separate bedroom, very good for privacy with a fare price. The resort has a outdoor fireplace, a hot spring tub (although we did not use it), which is a perfect place for relaxation. Staff were super friendly. We called after office hour to extend our stay, and they accommodated to our request at their best effort. We appreciated their timely help a lot.

The breakfast was lacking protein options, .e.g eggs, during weekdays. But the free breakfast came with banana, granola bars, coffee, breads, and bagels, which are still excellent.

I have always wanted to stay in one of these older properties in Estes Park. First off, the staff is excellent. And, loved their text messages, welcome before we arrived, check in during our stay, and thank you as we left. The outdoor amenities were awesome, the pool and outdoor games available provide a lot of activities on site. Movies and games for indoor entertainment were also plentiful. The bathroom was dated, but clean. The bed was really comfortable. I would definitely return to this property 😃

There were Elk walking through the parking lot daily. We really enjoyed our stay. Pool was great. Close to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. All the staff were super friendly.

There is a new housing development behind this building, we had a nice big window overlooking someone else in their cabin. It didn't impact our stay at all, I just wish I could have seen more out that nice window.

The room was great and the breakfast was super. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. Our kiddo played on their jungle gym and met a lot of other kids to play with. There is a fantastic pizza place right around the corner if you are feeling too lazy to go out. There were elk and deer walking through the property and were bedded down in the morning. That's always fun to see. It was a great place, especially if you have kids, to stay and play at. We will definitely be back.

The resort was very nice and fun. Estes Park was terrific.

Check-in was an issue. After a long day of travel I was told I couldn't check into my room unless I filled out their form on an app. In addition I was told I owed more than promised. I refused to pay more. Room was pre-paid for 9 months in advance. Although the resort facilities were great, more attention should be given to the rooms. A little paint, light fixtures and power outlets would elevate the rooms.

Beautiful views, close to downtown Estes Park; for shopping, souvenirs, and restaurants. Large area in the center of the complex for grilling, a playground, horseshoes, and swimming pool. Murphy's is a pet friendly facility and has designated rooms. If they are out of designated pet friendly rooms, you can still reserve a room but will have a $250.00 pet charge that will be charged if your pet does damage.

Pillows are flatter than pancakes. The room is outdated, and the heater was in a bad location; on the wall aimed at the closet and not the room.

Loved the homey feel it had to it. Very cozy, especially for the winter months. The location is wonderful as well. Staff was very helpful and polite. The spa tub was very clean. Bathroom very clean. All amenities worked perfectly

There was alot of pet hair left on sofa and the bed. Just bothered a bit as we didn't have a pet and had to constantly clean hair off of our clothes also the door lock was coming apart. I know Estes Park is very safe but we were more sacred an animal would come barging in. Other than everything was perfect.

The resort is well-maintained and offers anything you could possibly want! The staff are friendly, helpful & courteous, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location of the resort was perfect for us. Close to everything, but out of the chaos of Estes Park. Lots of restaurant choices close by, close to RMNP, as well as a short walk to Lakes Estes. They have a lovely heated pool as well as a large indoor hot tub, outdoor games, live music, fire pits and a beautiful pavilion area to gather at.

The breakfast is a little more grab and go. The lady that takes care of the breakfast room is so kind and accommodating that I really can't say that this was a "didn't like" area. We just would have preferred a few more choices of food items. It was healthy and got us out the door!! We looked forward to her smiling face each morning!!

The beds are very good. The internet is good. The rooms are clean but there is not daily housekeeping service. We stayed 3 nights. We could empty our trash if we wanted and walk up to the main office and get towels. Housekeeping seemed short staffed. A bathroom light in room 208 was burned out. The nightly music was very nice as was the popcorn. It's close to the lake and pretty close to town.

The breakfast isn't very good. There was only grape jelly. Yuck. The hard boiled eggs - at least 2 of them were rotten. The smell was appalling. The yogurt isn't very good. The tea is good as were the nice sized bagels. Individual fruit laid out was nice and the room is nice. Light filled and spacious.
