Really enjoyed my stay with my partner at this Hotel. Entire front desk team including Amanda and Shelley were so thoughtful and friendly. They were just opening their restaurant and their breakfast burritos and coffee were just what we needed after the hikes they recommended in the Rockies. The fireside S'mores were the perfect cap to our evening before we went back to our rooms. Everything felt super clean, and thoughtful, really liked the Alchemist Shampoo and even their branded coffee in room from Huckleberry Roasters in Denver.

Such a nice place to stay while in the Rockies! We looked at a bunch of other places in the area on Booking.com and glad we chose this one. Trailborn definitely has a fresh and fun vibe, and is really well maintained. Rooms were warm, and the marketplace had a bunch of local products we used during our stay. Hotel staff was warm and friendly, rooms were great and well appointed, we loved the giant fire in the back patio! Front desk was helpful in booking a small trip into the park and recommending local restaurants in the area. On our last day we were delighted to see Elk walking down just by the parking lot across town!

We often visit friends in Denver and always want to go away to see the Rocky Mountains, though in the summertime it’s pretty complicated with timed entry for the park and the prices of hotel rooms are pretty bonkers. When deduced to visit in the off-season and spotted this new hotel just opened and that sounded perfect. It was great. The town was slow and full of locals, the park was empty and the hotel was perfect home base. They fed us a great breakfast. They let us check in early and stay late. They were the friendliest staff who were genuinely excited to help us, Russ and Skyler were especially helpful. They gave us hiking suggestions in the park, and restaurants to check out in town. The room was super cool, had great shower amenities and a awesome bed! Definitely slept in later than we thought so appreciated that late checkout. Definitely coming back in the summer!

The Rocky Mountain theme: local products in the shop, travel guide, cooler, books The location is perfect for walking into town. Loved the fire pit with s’more

Not much. Some suggestions for improvement : Add a path on the northeast side to more easily get to the sidewalk heading into town instead of walking down the driveway which was icy for my stay. Insulation to the room doors. Cold draft coming in at the bottom of the door.

Great location. Hotel is clean and modern. Lobby area was pleasant and nicely decorated. Takeaway snacks and beverages available in the lobby as is the small cafe and bar, which served up some delicious snacks. Fire pit and chairs behind the hotel looked very inviting, but is was raining the night of our stay, so we did not partake. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, even making phone calls to find out specific information about our trip to RMNP. An overall very pleasant experience.

Customer service was great. Conner at the front desk was very helpful and a joy to speak with. Location was great, walkable to all things within Estes.

Heater didn’t work. Room was warm enough though.

Connor was friendly, professional and service minded.

Noise from adjoining rooms and the street.

Comfortable, quiet and friendly.

Need a hair dryer for the ladies and it would be great if the outlets were closer to the bed for iPhone use at night. But neither are deal breakers and would stay again.

Great location, walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Bed was comfortable. Nice lobby, patio and fire pit.

Restaurant/bar had limited hours and menu. Only one light switch for all lights in room. Room was not properly cleaned. Some days only bath towels, and no hand towels, washcloths or bath mat. Windows didn't open and would not close tight. Terrible instant coffee in room. Pigeon droppings on walkway and stairs.

Very friendly stuff

Room was kinda clean, but windows were dirty, some doors for storage were broken when we checked in and drain had hair.
