This is a decent little motel with exceptionally nice people. It's simple, clean, and safe. You can get a basic coffee and pastry breakfast in the office. The bed was comfy and there was a pull-out and a small table with chairs in our room as well -- in addition to the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It's not fancy. It's a motel where you can park in front of the door to your room. Again, really nice people running the place and just a 5-min or so drive from downtown Estes Park. Just far enough from downtown that you are not dealing with the awful traffic that is there.

Nothing they can do about the fact that you are fairly close to a road so there is some road noise. However, turning on the fan in the ac/heat unit completely blocks it out.

Very clean room, well laid out, came with a microwave, coffee maker and a mini fridge. The layout was great, AC and heat work AMAZING. Felt very comfortable and the area it is in was PERFECT! It’s not even a 5 minute drive from the strip in Estes. Friendly staff and willing to accommodate.

The bathroom is extremely small ESPECIALLY the shower. You can barely move in there. Looks like it’s a 2x2 shower. Overall pretty clean and does the job though. Bed was a little hard but like I said, it does the job :)

Good value for the area, close to attractions, excellent staff. Room was average for the age of the hotel. Comfortable bed and easy access to/from area attractions. Staff was very accomodating and were great to reach out to make sure we knew how to handle our late check-in.

Slightly dated facility but in good shape, clean and in good repair, bed was new and comfortable.

I love the vintage feel of our room. I wish we would of stayed an extra night. I am planning on returning in the fall with my husband and staying here. I brought my daughter to Colorado for a week and we both loved this room. It was our favorite stop.

Lights were a little hard to find the switch so we just unscrewed the light bulb.

I visit Estes Park often. I have stayed at more expensive locations in Estes that were not as clean and nice as this small motel. I was looking for a room that was comfortable, clean, and quiet even being close to highway and was easy access to the town as well. The staff, Joslyn, was the young lady that checked me in/out. She was friendly, professional, and wanted to be sure my needs were met throughout my stay. She asked about plans and shared some ideas and options as well. Saddle and Surrey exceeded my expectation.

I do not feel anything was needed for my stay, that I did not like or could be improved on. Access to wildlife viewing looked possible in the area behind the motel. Sadly, I didn't see any elk or deer this time. Not the motel's issue because I did see a moose at Lily Lake.

Continent location. Just out of the business of the city but still close enough. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Staff was very pleasant to deal with, would stay again based on the interaction alone.

Would have a hard time finding anything bad to say. Sad I forgot my ice cream in the freezer 😩

Exceptional value for Estes Park in peak season, kids loved the pool and hot tub in the evenings after hiking. Really appreciated the kitchen in the room for prepping breakfasts and lunches. Staff was very friendly.

We needed to be in Rocky Mountain National Park before they started serving continental breakfast, so can’t comment on that.

Saddle & Surrey was perfect. The office staff was friendly and personable and helpful with all the questions we had. The room was clean with plenty of towels and toiletries. It had a larger mini-fridge and microwave in the room. The bed was very comfortable with great feeling sheets. The bathroom had a stand up shower and was very clean. We departed the motel very early the next morning to get to our trail head at dawn so we didn't have time to check out the pool. I've already booked our next stay at this motel.

The room was cozy and exceptionally clean! The bed was very comfortable providing a good night’s sleep. Also the location was quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly.

The room was so clean! Since covid I have stayed in 3 other hotels. They were all known chain hotels that were supposedly had some standards. They were disgustingly dirty. This place was spotless, bright and comfortable!

Breakfast was lacking and didn't start until 8 am. It was very limited and not good enough for an active day.
