Wildwood Inn

The views from both the front door as well as the back deck were absolutely spectacular. There was reserved parking and, for us, no steps to walk up/down - our car was literally a few feet from our front door. The private hot tub was a bonus that we enjoyed, there were outdoor seating areas both by the front door facing north and the deck facing south, and the hosts were smart enough to keep a towel on a hook on the deck, presumably to be used to dry off the table/chairs without soiling bath towels. The entire unit was clean, there was a gas fireplace for chilly nights, the bed was very comfortable, the televisions were newer, extra towels were provided in the bathroom, and the kitchen was well appointed. The location was less than 10 minutes from downtown Estes Park shopping, restaurants and attractions and a mile away from RMNP.

It was nice to have a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom but it didn't work well for us, as my husband's bad knees made it difficult to navigate in and out of the tub to shower.

Very nice and sweet owners who do their best to run the place. Excellent location, literally 2 mins from RMNP entrance. It is quite comfortable, with heater / AC working properly.

A little bit outdated, but for us that was not an issue. However, we did find some hairs on bathroom floor, which is never comfortable, and there were A LOT of fruit flies in the room, i mean when we would light up the bed light, you could see them swarm all over. They dont actually disturb you though so i just turned off all lights and went to sleep

Very clean! Perfect location for gorgeous views and only .04 miles from east gate entrance to the incredible Rocky Mountain National Park. Then for visiting wonderful Downtown Estes Park, it is a quick six-to-seven-minute car drive. The best of both worlds! Cindy, host, is friendly and truly cares about this family resort and wants your stay to be very enjoyable! Ours was! We stayed in the Aspen Family Suite.

Hot tub was lukewarm, not hot. However, the Sun -Spa Room (reservation needed) is a really nice feature as a part of your room rate.

My view and room were great well stocked, organized, and clean.

It was too far up the hill for one person, with no car shuttle drop off at the office after hours, left to walk up two levels with two bags and no directions for accessing the room entrance. I thank God for the resident walking with his kids showing me how to access my building and room. I Call emergency and waited 10 minutes on the after-hours call and was provided taxi information for future use.

My stay was a surprise Mother's Day gift from my family and everything was perfect. The room was cozy, quiet and exactly what I needed. I felt secluded even though there were other guests staying at the property. The fireplace in my room added to the ambiance and the visiting elk and gentle rain on my last morning made for a picture perfect memory. Above all, though, the innkeeper, Lauren, made sure my stay was nothing less than perfect. From the first moment at check in, I felt welcomed. It also became clear Lauren had been in cahoots with my family to make this surprise pampering gift a weekend to remember. From the 90 minute massage to the wine, truffles, and very sweet card left in my room, I felt very pampered! I am looking forward to returning both alone and with my family.

I can't think of anything. My stay truly checked every good box.

The view was gorgeous. The porch was adorable. I wish the TV was bigger, though. Having a family of 4 with a 32 inch tv was not the best. You all should really upgrade! The fireplace was PERFECT. It warmed up the cabin very quickly and it was a great touch. The internet also doesn’t support the Apple TV we brought (so we could have our movies readily available for our children) which is ok, we watched basic cable instead. The beds creak A LOT. The pillows are not comfortable but the bed is and I brought my own pillow anyway so it was all good. There was also an elk that sat outside our window from when we got there till really late at night. I think he was injured and although it was slightly terrifying cause elks can be dangerous, it was such a view! My kids got a kick out of his presence and my husband and I definitely tripped out on it. It was a beautiful addition to this gorgeous little cabin and it wasn’t even on purpose. There’s a really neat/cute little kitchen inside that you can cook on but since our trip was quick, we didn’t use it. Fridge is huge!! We brought lots of snacks and drinks and the fridge’s size was definitely more than accommodating. Lastly, book the room, you won’t regret it. My son is 6 and fell in love with it. He asked if we could come back to that exact place for my daughters birthday in December. We may just have to!

The TVs size and the quality of the internet. I know we are there for a getaway trip but when it’s late at night, the kids are asleep and you’re in the middle of a cabin close to Halloween, we really wanted to watch the scary movie that we rented.

Location was great only 3 miles to RMNP entrance. Views from our room were a mountain and parking lot. Rooms were a little outdated but it goes along with the motiff. All accessories you needed were provided and there were lots of blankets for the beds.

Parking was restricted while we were there due to repaving. Had to park below and walk up the hill which was hard since my husband and brother both have COPD.

The facilities are lovely and clean, with patio seating area and outside grill. Kitchen facility was nice, but we made no plans to cook in the room. Location is great, just a mile or two from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. View would be great except for the ground level of the room with pine trees in the way.

Our parking space was difficult to get into and out of with very little room to turn around, especially give the size of our pick-up truck. Not much they can do about that given that the facility is on a hillside.

Loved the clean, comfortable, spacious 1 bedroom suite, large modern bathroom, in-room spa tub, gas fireplace, assigned parking space right outside unit, large windows with nice mountain views... also really liked the fact that they do not charge annoying extra fees, such as cleaning fee, booking fee, parking or resort fee like many of the other places in town do. Also, this Inn is about a mile from from entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park... very convenient!

Nothing not to like ... was a great place and value!

Location. It's so close to town and sooo close to Fall river side entrance to park .

Thermostat making noise in the night.Old kitchen supplies. Like non stick Skillet,non stick milk sauce pan . But surprisingly( after complaint) Renee the staff at wildwood gave us a couple of New non stick skillets on last night!!! But still we appreciate the gesture .
