The property and the building itself were every nice! Things were clean and in their place. The staff were tremendously nice and accommodating.

The bed was miserably uncomfortable. Extremely hard! My wife and I both tossed and turned all night, eventually waking up with a sore back. This was the ONLY thing we disliked about our stay

Breakfast was the typical heat your own sausage muffins. Cold cereal. make your own mini waffles. Not complaining but breakfast wasn’t what we expected. Maybe because of covid, but Fairfield used to have better breakfast with fruit peeled and ready to go, warm breakfast made. Example omelettes, sausage patties, a buffet style breakfast.

For our needs, an excellent location within walking distance of the city. Excellent front desk staff, great breakfast and great service

Parking off-site was a bit to deal with and of course an additional charge.

It’s a downtown hotel so squeezed in the middle of tall buildings and street traffic. You must park across the street in “secure” parking deck which made us a tad uneasy. The bed and linens were wonderful, extremely comfortable and room was clean but just an average room with small bathroom in older hotel. The bath soap -the one tiny piece of soap for sink and shower-was minuscule! Not much more than a sliver! We toss soap slivers that small; I’d be embarrassed to give it out! Breakfast was extremely good and many items to choose from. Nice seating. Front desk ladies were very courteous. I wouldn’t rate it a three star hotel though.

The bath soap was a tiny sliver and the tiny vial of shampoo was not enough for one person with short hair! Come on….

If I had to say something that I didn’t like it would be the pillows were a little uncomfortable.

First time in any Fairfield inn & Suites by Marriott usually I booked different hotels but decided to go with Fairfield inn I was very impressed how comfortable the beds were, the cleaning and customer service. A Plus.

The location was with in walking distance of the downtown and historic areas. A parking garage was located conveniently across the street; the continental breakfast was expanded to include hot items. The hotel surrounding area was quiet and not much traffic.

Not any fault of the hotel but the city streets were alternating one-way, plus some city construction with detours made access to the entrance a challenge.

The location of the Inn and the location for the parking. Didn't feel all that comfortable.

Loved it!!! Customer Service was great! The room exceeded my expectations. Love the food! Location was not too far from wedding!

At first, I thought I was going to have to cancel and the lady gave me a hard time. My room was not ready and told me it would not be ready until after 3pm. But the manager fixed everything!

The very best thing was the staff and their eagerness to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Very convenient location to Old Salem and downtown Winston Salem - easily walkable.
