The room was good, only complaint was the blackout curtain wouldn’t stay closed together so I had a bright construction flood light shining in my face all night. Bathroom was clean and beds were comfortable.

Clerk that checked us in was awful. He was very rude. We were locked out as it was after hours and it took us over 10 minutes to get him in the lobby and for us to get inside. He never told us the room number or anything. Just set the envelope with the keys on the desk. I had to ask if we were finished and then find our room. There were 6 people ( three different client groups) in the lobby that night and the clerk we equally as rude to each one he interacted with.

The lady behind the desk I met upon arrival was the best. Very helpful, friendly & courteous. She even printed out for me where I could find the nearest Verizon hdqtrs. I had cell phone issues. Loved being on the 2nd floor. Parking was just fine. The room was very nice. Coffee was excellent.

I had a hard time figuring out how to make the tub go from bath to shower. Then in figuring out how to cut it off. I was so close to calling the front desk & asking but I happened to stumble on it. The construction going on next door had the brightest lights & my curtains couldn't close all the way which was a headache thru-out the night (I like it dark). The waffle station was out of order & I had my heart set on hotel waffles. I'm more of a bacon man than a turkey sausage man, but that's how it is sometimes. I was bummed about no free local newspaper for guests. Have hotels stopped doing that or just BW Plus? Having once lived in the area, it would've been nice to catch up that way.

The Motel was very clean. The linens were nice, very comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty . We were there 5 days and had Something different every day.

It was an excellent location for everything we wanted to do in Winston-Salem.. There was plenty of shops and restaurants right in the area.

The location is great with Hanes Mall and other shops around within walking distance. The room was cleaned every day. There is no kettle but you can get hot water from the coffee machine downstairs.

It would be good to have a proper pedestrian walk from the hotel to Hanes Mall instead of having to walk beside the main road.

the elevators are sketchy like really sketchy. the pillows were garbage. the plug to the bathtub was broken and running a bath for my toddler was a little difficult. unless you turned the knob really really tight the shower would drip.

Gentleman running the breakfast (Swift) I think was on his name tag was awesome. An elderly gentleman was using a walker and couldn't get food. Swift asked if the man needed help and proceeded to make his breakfast plate and get him juice and milk. This interaction just helped restore some faith in humanity.

Would have been nice if the wooden fence had a pass through to allow walking to the mall next door. There is no side walk next to the busy road, so you have to drive a car to go 500 yards to walk around a mall to shop

Very clean, I got a quiet room as requested, and most of all the breakfast lounge!!! Mr. Swift was there all the time making sure that nothing was missing, everything in place and counters clean. He had always a smile on his f as face - what a delight!! Thank you Mr. Swift!! The hotel is close to Wake Hospital w👍 which is where I was headed.

The hotel is older, but it was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

My husband got up early and went down to breakfast, but most items were out and weren’t being replenished. However, an hour and a half later when my son and I woke up and went down everything was available and being replenished regularly.

The location was only 3 miles from the Benton Center and there were several great eating places within a mile of it. Housekeeping did an excellent job of making the bed and cleaning the room daily.

Bed a little hard., but ok More parking needed,

the staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful

the main lobby was very nice and clean looking, rooms were nice, but of the two we stayed in there were stains on carpet, possible mold in one shower, just some normal wear and tear that could easily be taken care of but i could just be picky 😉
