Holiday Inn Express Grants Pass, an IHG Hotel

The lobby was warm and cozy with the fireplace going. The lobby was clean, and the staff greeted us, looking professional and with smiles. There were warm cookies and coffee arrived at 630pm. We were given a room on the first floor but when the staff heard us as we walked out sad that we weren't on the top floor, he quickly gave us a room on the 4th floor. We took the elevator up, and the room was clean and comfy. The beds were perfect. We all slept so well. Dove products were stocked, which was awesome. We forgot toothpaste, and the front desk hooked us up. Great experience

I didn't like that they didn't have a non dairy creamer for coffee.

For a lot of places in this class, the breakfast is usually continental fair - cereal, fruit, bagel. I really liked being able to get a traditional egg breakfast. I really felt very welcome from every worker I encountered - front desk, custodian, housekeeping, etc. Many places seem to run by people who don't really enjoy their job. I was made to feel like I was really wanted and that they were happy to meet me and to serve me. I was very appreciative of the large grassy area available for my dog. There was no need for me to find a dog park. Lots of room, for my dog to roam safely. Every store and food accommodation was found within a short 3 minute drive. You could even walk to several if you wanted. Being right off the freeway was very convenient. I do not recommend often, but I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone. Everything you could want and how you want it will be here.

Room was nice, decently clean. I loved the tub but didn’t like that the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working.

So the only issue I had was at 8 am the room across from me had towels delivered and the dude delivering it was beating on the door like we was about to get raided or something, I thought they were beating on our door so I jumped up butt a$$ naked and ran to the door, that kind of ruined my morning I have bad anxiety so I was not able to enjoy the wonderful looking breakfast. He did not need to beat on that door like that plus that room had kids in it so boo on that person for doing that.

Everything. This has been the easiest experience checking in at any hotel. The room size was perfect and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was phenomenal. Great selection wonderfully laid out. Very clean. The staff are great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a great quick getaway. We will be returning.

Everything was great. But if i was nit-picking i would say the upper walls in the bathroom need a little more attention. There looked to be some dirt or discoloration above the mirror. But everything was well cleaned and comfortable.

Clean and convenient property located near restaurants and shops. Friendly and helpful stafff.

It may seem like a very picky point but I stand 6’7” tall and found the toilet in the bathroom very, uncomfortably low. Also I found the room to not have enough lighting. All lamps in the room worked but I still found it dark.

Great mid way spot and this Holiday Express is super friendly and great rooms. I like the restaurant next store too, but it has been hit and miss on quality but much better than say a Denny's. The lawn area at the end of the parking lot is good for walking self or pets. There is an outdoor patio setting too for when the weather is good too. I have not used it but plan to on my next trip.

No nearby parks but the property does have a park like setting for walking around to get some exercise.

The staff went above and beyond for us. Our car unexpectedly broke down on our way to California and they worked with us and let us have late check out while our car was getting fixed. They were so helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much Holiday Inn!

Everything was great! Can't complain.

Breakfast choices were bagged up by staff as to what items we chose. The rooms are usually very similar with other Holiday Express locations. Clean, comfortable and stocked with needed personal items. Also, I feel the floors and walls are sturdier and thicker in all locations and barely ever hear any neighbors, which is very important to me to have quiet.

Because of Covid and Oregon's rules, the breakfast was mainly cold items, except for a hot breakfast sandwich. In California, the locations on our trip had full open breakfast which I prefer to choose from.

The breakfast was adequate, considering they have to deal with covid regulations. I would guess that normally it would be outstanding choices. Rooms were large and extra seating, besides sitting on the bed. Had a room next to elevator but it was not a problem. Staff recommended a very excellent steak house for dinner!

Rooms were not as insulated as I expected given the age of the building. We were awakened just before 7am with upstairs guests walking around for almost an hour....back and forth, dropping, stomping, running water, slamming doors, etc.

I loved where it’s located central to so much. The property grounds are so clean and the place is immaculate. The breakfasts are good with a big variety.

Dogs barking inside hotel, and kids running and screaming in room above and beside us. Security at night in parking lot as there were shady people out there every night we were there.
