The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating, from the valet staff to the front desk to restaurant staff through to the spa therapists. Also the grounds, along the water with Adirondack chairs thoughtfully scattered throughout the property, were lovely. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the blueberry scone from Four Five was insanely delicious.

Almost everything was awesome! But the couch in the room was uncomfortably stiff/hard, and the frosted glass in the wall b/t the bathroom and the sleeping area was creepy. Lastly I’m an apologetic coffee snob so would have preferred an actual espresso-made drink at the cafe :)

The location is beautiful

Unfortunately, they had a reservation messed up, and had us in for one room when we had booked two. Even after I showed them a confirmation email from Booking.com showing the receipt, they ended up charging my credit card again that I gave for incidentals and charged me more if a room rate for both rooms - also alluded that it happened because I booked it through your company. they worked to try to make it right, but was a little annoying to deal with.

The lobby, outdoor bar, and pool are beautiful. The free shuttle options into Newport are wonderful and convenient. Newport is so close you can also walk over the bridge. It takes 10 mins max.

The booking.com rate I had included the facility charge. I was charged again at check out. They credited me a lower amount. The hotel was recently aquired by a new owner so the restaurant was not a very good experience. The food was not good. I ate there when it was Scarpetta which was much better than it is now. the room is a little small. The cafe had 1 person working and very long line. They were understaffed. The toiletries in the bathroom are minimal.

It is tired and in need of an upgrade. The exterior colour is dreadful. It should be changed to a nice maritime blue with white accents that include shutters on every window. A faux lighthouse cupola would be a stunning addition. The dining room decor is dreadful and cold and a waste of a great view. It should be upgraded to a nice warm nautical ambience; it could be a true destination restaurant. The food is great but we preferred to have it in the bar. The layout is a bit crazy and chopped up but I don’t know how you can fix that. The staff (especially Bailey and Miguel?) was terrific.

It was very clean, beautiful resort feel and great location. it was not over crowded which I assume is due to the time of year in May.The outdoor pool and fire pits on patio were great. The staff was very friendly.

our rooms didn’t get cleaned until late in day and we always had to request more towels/wash cloths. The hotel could use some upgrades starting with bed that is not that comfortable.

The property was a very nice scenic view! it was exceptionally comfortable & the room had enough space and comfort for my stay. the indoor pool was great too!

room had no mini fridge & no microwave. When I arrived late at night I was told that they couldn’t cut me a key card & I had to go back in the morning to get get one.

the live music starts at 6pm once most people have left the pool and pineapple club area to get showered and changed to go to dinner. The live music should be during day around 2-4 when it’s active and people are outside day drinking and enjoying the pool, not once everyone has left to get ready for dinner and then people are gone till 9 or later once they’ve eaten

Great views all around with some nice outdoor bars and staff was great to. Nice coffee Cafe on site as well and lots of fire pits to sit by outside. And a nice shuttle service that drops you off downtown and picks you up every 30 minutes. Room was nice to with balcony and nice oversized windows.

the views are spectacular, lobby and rooms very beautiful and spacious! the deck outside was gorgeous, we didn’t want to leave!

the rooms although nice were dated and not the cleanest. I wasn’t uncomfortable or extremely disappointed but the sink was clogged, drained very slowly and there were soap and shampoo stains all over the shower. also thought it was strange there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room!

View and location were wonderful, all staff including restaurant and bar were exceptional

Price is a bit prohibitive. Liked area and facility alot but for the price we could spend a week in exotic places in the Carribean for the same or lower price. That is our only complaint.
