The bedroom & bathroom were both very nice with plenty of space. The bed was soft & comfortable. The Riverview from our room was a nice added feature & was beautiful to enjoy the view while having my morning coffee on the balcony! Tammy was very sweet & helpful with the questions we had about our stay & suggestions on places to eat downtown. The entire staff was friendly & welcoming. The breakfast & coffee was great as well.

The bell tower was a bit much in the morning, especially if you're sleeping in & your room is right next to it. That's just a personal preference of mine to enjoy some quiet mornings. I know that it was not part of the hotel, so no fault of theirs, it's just worth a mention.

location is great.

unusually small pillows on the bed. no bar although similar hotels had them. no bikes to borrow although similar hotels had them. toilet wobbled when we sat on it. Breakfast egg items seemed to be made in a factory in China… the rest of the breakfast was nearly as institutional and unhealthy… some healthier choices (berries, melon, cottage cheese, low fat low sugar yogurt, whole grain bagels) would be nice! or just skip the breakfast and lower the rate.

Excellent location and exceptional staff members! From the very first communication, every single staff member was friendly, accommodating, and they always had a smile. This is a great property and will definitely stay here again.

The only bad thing that we experienced is that we couldn't stay longer.

The location was very convenient for us and within walking distance of most of our planned activities.

At check in, the price we were going to be charged was much more than our price on booking.com. When we questioned the staff member, it was corrected to the booking.com price.

The size of the room was perfect for our needs. We had bikes with us, so needed extra floor space which we had. The location right on the Swamp Rabbit Trail was perfect, as well as the location in the downtown area.

Zero complaints. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was average. Location was my priority and I was satisfied.

A better rate. Too many options searching for a good rate. There was a broad range of pricing through the different sites. I was quoted $900 for a two night...TOO EXPENSIVE.

The property was clean. The staff was kind. (The ladies who set up breakfast were especially nice.) The location is very well suited to the nicely restored areas downtown and numerous restaurants. The price point is appropriate for this type of hotel. I grew up in Greenville. It is really nice to see how the area has attracted new investments.

The only reason "facilities" doesn't get a full mark is because I also stay at (and rate) resort leading hotels globally. No Hampton Inn has all the extras. It is a good value hotel (not a resort). This Hampton has been well maintained, and hence it deserved a high rating. I stayed in other Hampton Inns on this same trip. They were not acceptable.

The room was clean and comfortable with a great layout.

The breakfast offerings were modest but the quality could have been better, the first day the bananas were black and the omelets looked over cooked.

Staff was extremely accomodating. Breakfast, the breakfast staff and room it was served in started the day right, The location was excellent, overlooking the park, walkable to all of downtown and the baseball field.

Refurbishing was taking place and some facilities/elevators impacted. Beds a bit too soft for my taste.

The hotel was very nice and clean the lady at the front desk Joby was really helpful and nice I believe it was the most welcoming and friendliest staff at the front desk of any hotel I've ever been in would definitely stay there again
