Holiday Inn Prague Airport, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well run. The breakfast bar was exceptional in the quantity and variety of food it offered. The airport check-in was within walking distance of the hotel, or for a small fee you can sign up to take a van to or from the airport. There is also the option of a public bus that comes about every half hour.

Walking to the hotel from the airport arrivals area we got a bit disoriented on where to go and which way to turn. Clearer signage for pedestrians would be helpful. The hotel is a bit hidden behind Parking Structure D when walking there from the airport arrivals area.

The hotel is at an excellent choice for anyone who needs to catch an early morning flight or needs to sleep somewhere after a late night flight before continuing their travels the next day. The shuttle service is great and reliable, and the shuttle is fully electric, so good for the environment too. The rooms were a decent size, with lots of storage space and very comfortable and sturdy beds, with soft mattresses. It's not possible to open the hotel windows, but the AC worked well. Bottled water and tea/coffee were provided in the room next to the kettle. Ironing board and iron were also in the room in case someone needs it. The bathroom was nice, although I'd prefer having more space in the shower, it's just the basic cubicle shower there. Shampoo, shower gel and soap by the sink were all Dove, which was a great surprise, it's one of my favourite brands. There was a hair dryer provided as well. Check in and check out were fast and easy. There's a restaurant and a bar downstairs where you can sit down in the evenings. If you feel like having a take-out, lots of restaurants deliver to this location, the app I used for that was called "Dame Jidlo", it works in English and is easy to use, very similar to Deliveroo or Just Eat. All staff was very nice, kind, and helpful. Bus stop is right outside the hotel if needed. Overall I had a great experience at this hotel, and would definitely use it again if I needed to sleep in Prague near the airport.

Shower could have been larger, and I would welcome having large towels that I can wrap myself in, the biggest towel that was provided was quite small. A few tiles in the bathroom felt a bit loose. The leather was peeling off the bed frames in places - this didn't bother me but just putting it down here for other travelers who find the visuals important :)

Lack of better communication of informations between hotel, bookings.com and GUESTS. I changed my stay of arrival for one day later, informed the hotel and received several automated (as I later found out) responses from hotel, confirming my reservation. Upon arriving tired from transatlantic flight I was told the hotel was full, and that there was no room available. After having a heated exchange, and trying unsuccessfully call bookings.com, I was told that they found a room for me. What was NOT clear Is that the change was to be done with bookings.com and not the hotel. Will not recommend stay even when location is convenient and rooms are clean and comfortable, unless there is improvement with between hotel, booking.com and guests.

Hotel was great. It was clean and very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were nice and they were able to accommodate us on joining rooms as we had requested. The AC was not working as good as we would have liked it but other than that it was a good stay and practically next to the airport. You can walk or take the bus to the airport if you don’t want to wait for the shuttle. Also when going to the airport take in mind that the shuttle isn’t that big and sometimes it can get pack. So if there is a few people waiting to go to the airport you might have to wait a little. Overall the hotel was great. I definitely recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

The location is great if you fly in late and you want to rest up before you head into the city to your primary hotel/apartment. It’s also ideal if you’re leaving early in the morning. The restaurant and bar are priced similarly to what you’ll find in the Old Town and the food is good. I walked to and from but it’s probably closer to 1km. instead of the 400 meters quoted. It’s somewhat tricky to locate so it’s best to have a map on your phone. They have a shuttle also.

There is only one English language channel (news) on the TV so that’s really not a good option for killing time if that’s your language. Satellite TV people. The room was cold and the thermostat didn’t seem to work. All the numbers have been rubbed off of it so it was impossible to see the setting anyway. And about those pillows which they use as a selling point. I had four pillows on a queen bed and they were all exceedingly soft. It’s like they had been filled about a third of the way. Even two of them weren’t adequate to lean against while looking at sports in German on the TV. You had to roll one up to support your head while sleeping and it was uncomfortable.

We came to stay overnight right before our morning flight. The airport is in a walking distance ... around 8minutes. And we also made it on time while we also got the breakfast, which was delicious. Wide palette of savoury and sweet things. Bed was super comfortable. We had free toileteries, water and tea with kettle in the room.

It is true that we came a bit late... But we had to wait untill someone actually noticed that we came at the reception. But once they did they were helpful and nice. Staff at the breakfast was sweet and kind.

At reception we were met met by a lovely young woman, who checked us in. She was very polite. Our rooms were immaculately clean, the bonus as a family we had was adjoining rooms. The bedding was very clean, 2 pillows on one single bed. Prices for alcohol a bit steep and for food but you expect this at airport hotels. My husband and son had a meal in the evening, a Caesar Salad and a cheesy pasta, both were delicious they said. The breakfast was amazing, catering for everyone, hot: bacon, eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, tomatoes, variety of cakes, cheeses rolls, breads, cereals, fruit and yoghurt, the most amazing creme brulee. The airport shuttle is free, you just tell the staff when you need to go and the shuttle is there. There were two members of staff who were very stern and did note break a smile at all. The breakfast staff were warm, kind and very helpful. Read on a previous review the rooms were small but we thought they were a great size. Lots of towels, perfect.

We loved everything but the breakfast was super !

Spacious, carpeted room with plenty of shelves and storage. Proper clothes hangers that detach from rail. Hospitality tray with coffee and tea, no biscuits. Fridge, no mini-bar items. Big wall mounted TV screen. Good lighting in room. Nice bedding. Sockets close to bed and desk. Big wall mirror, also with socket close by, convenient for hair-styling. Blackout curtains. Safe in wardrobe, big enough to store a laptop. Radiator which you can regulate yourself, gets nice and hot. Nice spacious bathroom with excellent lighting and shelving. Towel rail which you can switch on/off yourself. No toiletries but 3 big dispensers of Dove Hand wash, Body wash and Shampoo. Nice walk in shower with overhead shower as well as handheld. Hairdryer with three settings. Soft closing WC lid. Shuttle bus (on demand) worked without problems. No noise from airport at all despite its close proximity.

Double bed is 2 singles put together. Bed too firm for my liking, would benefit from a thick bedding mattress. The blackout curtain covering the smaller of the two windows should be shortened; as it is the radiator gets covered by the curtain and you have to choose between a dark room or a nice warm room.

This is a fantastic place to stay the night ahead of your flight. Everything was clean and comfortable, the WiFi worked (hurrah!); you have everything you need for a stress free stay, including a free shuttle to/from the terminal.

Rooms near the corridor door could maybe do with a little more soundproofing. The guy who checked us in was fine. The woman who checked us out and the e-shuttle driver were both sour-faced, monosyllabic miseries. I’m sick of staff who work in customer service acting like it’s more than they get paid for to smile at you/speak to you in whole sentences. They might do better to remember that they’re not doing people a favour by taking a payment; customers are actually keeping them in a job and the hotel in business by choosing to stay at that establishment rather than the many, many others available.
