Hostel Dakura

Clean and quiet environment. You need to put away the bed sheet by yourself. Nice vintage decorations. Staffs are friendly and also provided us a lounge room for studying.

The ladder up the bed is hard and a little painful to climb. Maybe the owner can find something soft to stick on them:)

Very nice and convenience location near metro, tram and busstops, for example to karlstad with flixbus, also very quiet area for a good night sleep and near nice restaurants. Also fun beautiful hotel, little bit the shining vibe for the horror movie lovers :). You can also walk to the big giant cathedral old city to the city center, beautiful by night. Also very comfortable warm in the cold evening

The matras was very thin, so we felt the bottom of the bed, but is okay if you like hard martrasses 🤣, and we missed a tv (but on the other hand its superquiet in the night for a good sleep)

We stayed for couple of days in this hostel, in a room with queen sized bed. I must say that this hostel is amazing, beyond my expectations for the price, the decorations are cute and vintage, rooms are super clean, and bed is extra comfortable, there is kitchen on every floor where you have everything you need for preparing meals. The hostel is peaceful we were able to sleep normal. Staff is friendly and helpful. And location is great a lot of bars and restaurants near , there is Tesco shop 10 mins away and metro station and bus station is also 10 mins away. I would recommend this hostel.

Location was great, in a nice quiet neighborhood with a lot of eating places around and with a good connection to a city center :) Check-in was smooth and easy. Finding the place was also easy as there's a big sign outside. Whole place and corridors looked pretty, nice texts and pics on the walls :) Showers were working very well. Personal seemed friendly and there were cleaning crew working on each morning so place was really clean :)

Could be more than one usable toilet on the floor as sometimes had to wait for your turn, but it's not so big deal ^^ There were separated toilets and showers for men and women though, but in men's room just one toilet was usable, guess other was being repaired or something.

I liked that the cleaners came every day and thoroughly cleaned the shared toilet and shower area. It was spotless. The toilet and shower were in separate cubicles which was great for privacy and convenience. The location was perfect, I could walk to the city centre in 20-30mins. I had a private room, it was spacious and well maintained. I felt safe.

There was a few parts of the room with cobwebs and dust and the couch maybe needed a cover to protect it from use. The pillow was thin but not uncomfortable. The towel provided was great for hands and face but not enough for a shower.

Boss hostel, great location, kitchen was really well stocked, great folks staying there. The garden is great, wee hammock, large chess set and outside seating. Late night check in was easy and effortless. Quiet but still folks about. Boss value for money.

The beds were really quite solid, we ended up pulling the duvet out of the sheets and sleeping on top of that which helped but ultimately we were a bit stiff. The pillows were also somehow comically large but comically filled with nothing?

The Hostel Dakura was very clean and way bigger than we originally though it will be. The stuff was very nice and helpful, the room was clean and quite big and well equipped, the WC/shower area was also clean and not far away from the room (would not pay more to have shower in room), also we were able to keep our luggage in the luggage room as we arrived as well as when we were leaving. A big plus was the location of the hostel, not far away is a stop called Hradčanská, where were a lot of trams coming/leaving so you could get everywhere within 20-30min without the need to change the transport also the surrounding of the hostel was quiet with a lot of places to visit :)

The rooms were very simple but had everything you need, ours even had a sink and two mirrors. The corridors were so beautifully decorated and the staff was super nice.

The showers were clean but it was a bit annoying that there was no place to put your clothing while showering. There was just a small hook which could not hold a lot and the rest had to sit on the floor which was wet. Our room was a double room with one bed, but the bed was just two small beds pushed together, which was super uncomfortable at night. Also, our mattress had huge brown stains.

We liked pretty much everything, especially the location. It's located quite near to the Metronome park, and it's literally 10 min walks down to the city centre, no need for a public transport (although the metro is 2 min away). The area is surrounded with coffees and bars, as well as markets. The hostel itself is in an old city building, having the chance to take a glimpse into to past. The staff is super cool, I have to acknowledge that. The cleanliness was at high level (although some guests managed somehow to leave a hurricane behind them into the showers). Kitchens are well equipped and have everything you need. I could probably go on and write ton's of good stuff about the hostel, so I'll just summarize it - it's the best deal you'll get! :)

Beautiful and cosy hostel, nice staff, convenient location (7 minutes of walking to metro station and 5 minutes of walking to tram lines). There's a shared kitchen with a fridge, cutlery, plates, cups, a microwave, a water cooker, 2 stoves, pots, pans and other cooking utensils. There's a nice garden with a hammock, some chairs and tables, a huge chess board and 2 neighbour cats that like to come there and let us pet them. On our last day in Prague, we had the opportunity to leave our luggage at the hostel after checking out, and come back later to get them, which was a great life-saver!

The only thing I didn't like too much is the ping pong table in the garden. From our room on the first floor we could hear the noises when someone is playing. It's not that bad, but everything would be perfect without the ping pong noise.
