Lindner Hotel Prague Castle, part of JdV by Hyatt

The service throughout my four-day stay was excellent. The staff were efficient and friendly.

There was far, far too much music. Disco, Pop/rock/Rap does not go with the atmosphere. I have to say, that those who choose this music have no taste in music whatsoever or understand (or care?) what people are forced to listen too.

Location, architecture

We did not like the approach of the receptionist.. one of the first question on checking-in was if we had a parking reservation. (We had none, because there was no such request on booking.) Hence parking at the premises was genarally difficult (little room) and as we had no reservation, we were asked to park about a half a mile away (free parking).. we came late evening and were busy off with other plans and obviously not wished to park this far away in public places.. after all we were charged approximately 30€ without previous notice.. as mentioned earlier, not really happy about the approach of the receptionist

The hotel is beautiful, very close to Prasky Hrad (and close to trams 22/23), with a variety of dining options and a little market close by. Breathtaking views of Prague are just 5 minutes away walk. Breakfast is excellent, a lot of options, even some prosecco. :) Super comfy bed, bath with a bathtub. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking close by (~5 minutes walk) is free of charge! Thank you for a great stay, will definitely stay here again.

Nothing not to like!

The hotel offers an exceptional stay. The location, just next to the monastery and 5 minutes by foot from the castle, as well as just across from the 22/23 tram lines, is perfect. We could park the car inside and leave it there. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the decor is tasteful, and the breakfast is simply the best with an unrivalled variety of cold meats, fruits, pastries and more. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful location next to Strahov Monastery and a delightful park. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff extremely nice and very helpful. Restaurant with limited but tasty dinner and absolutely fabulous breakfast. Three very nice and different restaurants within short walking distance. Tram 22 into center only short walk away. We loved Praha and hope to return and Lindner will be the place we stay!

We didn't stay long enough.

Location 1/2 hr walk to old city is actually good. Neighbourhood around the hotel was good. Breakfast was good. Personal is friendly but not really talkative or in other words giving short answers a kind of "rude" although rude is not the right word. May be it's their culture to respond this way. Dinner a la card could be improved. I certainly enjoyed the fact that the location is at around 350 altitude giving a nice cool evening in a peaceful and green environment

Breakfast was good, but scrambled eggs were too „raw“, that did cause quite some digesting issues and we had to extend our stay, we’re not able to travel… Location as such is perfectly situated, very quiet and easy to reach with public transportation. The staff was very friendly & helpful

See above - scrambled eggs. The menu card in the restaurant is very small….maybe one additional Pasta menu?

Beautiful grounds and reception area. Very pleasant staff who helped with local information, transport and taxi booking. Breakfast was generous and kitchen staff helpful. Lots of eating options nearby but also good at the Hotel.

Some of the room fittings, shower nosel etc, were loose and a bit cheap, a surprise considering the overall standard was very high. It’s a bit of a hike up the cobblestone hill with luggage, but worth the effort.

We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left! Great and very kind staff at the reception and in the restaurants, beautiful location, good food. One of the best places we've been so far. Děkuji mnohokrát!

Absolutely nothing!

Location was great, the room was very comfortable, it was convenient to public transportation. Lovely property- grounds were kept up very nicely.

I wish Breakfast was included in the hotel stay. Some staff members were not very friendly or helpful, but I would stay here again and recommend this property to others.
