Hotel Krystal

The staff was extremely accommodating - excellent communication with front desk and venue managers. Friendly, helpful, professional., quickly responding to the task. Room very comfortable and clean. Several options for venues with reasonable prices. Little bar, two restaurants options inside the hotel and few grocery stores near by are only plus to the comfortable stay. Hotel is in very good location- 15 minutes from airport ( taxi and direct bus) , few minutes from tram, bus and metro stations with direct access to the city centrum, few minutes from the Divoka Sarka nature park.

The hotel is still in the style of pre-revolution times , interior and exterior painting and updating to little more brighter - up to date style would make this hotel much more attractive with cleaner look and fresher odor. Wifi connection is limited only to some floors.

I recently stayed at Hotel Krystal with my family and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a 10 minutes walk from the metro station. The room is spacious and clean.

The breakfast buffet could have a better choice. It would be nice to see more variety. The curtains were not blackout curtains, so it was very bright in the room even at 4am. There was no fan or air conditioning in the room, so it was hot in there. Still giving 9 stars as it was all mentioned on the description of the hotel.

The hotel is located somewhere between the PRG airport and the city centre, close to the Praha Veleslavin train/metro/bus station. It is actually a big hotel with a lot of local tourists (most of them seemed to be either Czech or from neighbouring slavic countries), and I enjoyed the local atmosphere. The breakfast was good, especially the daily soup was very good. Hotel staff were generally friendly.

The hotel is located in a residential area and next to a main road, and there were not many shopping/eating places. It would be nicer to have an electronic kettle in the room, but at least there was a fridge to keep own drinks. (If you are arriving late, better to buy drinks somewhere else, as there is no shop around open after 21:00).

The hotel is just besides(250 meters) the Nádraží Veleslavín bus stop . Bus 119 comes directly from the Airport.. Also tram 26 goes right to the city center... Good location in between center and airport...

Nothing to complain about

It is 17 minutes away from the airport. Bus stop is around 100 meter away and they arrive every 5 minutes. Metro is also right next to the bus stop. It is perfect location for spending last days before your flight especially if you have early flight and don't want to loose time on the way. Also considering that metro is so close you can go to City center pretty easily and quickly. Breakfast is included in the price and they have pretty generous breakfast with plenty of choices. Also what I liked and I have never came across this service before, they offer you breakfast package for those traveling in the early morning and not able to have a breakfast at hotel. I was really positively surprised with such an offer. Just you should take care that you tell the reception about your flight in advance, in my case I got lucky that they managed to include me in since I told them very late. As for the room and other facilities, it is clean and roomy, just not something with top standards, I felt really well there since the hotel has Soviet style and it gave me nostalgic mood, for someone with really high values it can be not so fulfilling but if you aren't too high maintenance you will be happy in this hotel for sure.

Internet connection was a bit complicated, in our bedroom there was pretty low connection and only in the room's hall I could connect. You should be sure to use "don't disturb" tag on your door handle, since if you don't do that they start cleaning very early in the morning and they may enter the room unexpectedly. Bathroom and toilet is a bit too small but I didn't mind that much.

very good value for money: clean freshly renovated room, good beds, fridge in the room, large desk for working. The hotel is very very big - lots of different spaces to work on your laptop or do a video call. The hotel has good thick walls, it was really quiet inside the room. Breakfast was good: they had scramble eggs, sausages, risotto, cheese, cold meats, fruit and vegetables, yoghurt, cereals and pastry. There is a small food shop very close to the hotel. There is also a kiosk with snacks and coffee in the hotel lobby. For lunch and dinner the restaurant inside the hotel is very good.

No WiFi in the room (I kind of understand it - with these thick walls they cannot make the WiFi signal strong enough). So buy some mobile internet. Coffee at breakfast is not good - bring your instant coffee.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is a sufficiently large hotel with large rooms and good facilities to cover your stay. The breakfast was lavish although everything was not delicious but you have enough choices to decide. The special Czechian soups were a delight. Check in was seamless and they have extra vending machines, a snack bar and a restaurant for food in the space. Transport to the city center was 30 mins but tram spots is in 5 mins from the hotel.

It wasn't the most fancy hotel, but it serves its purpose well. The restaurant was a lot of times closed, so the timing was erratic but during holiday season in December it can be so. The Wifi in rooms was weak as routers are only available in 5 floors or so in 10 floor building. So your best bet is the common hallway and reception spaces.

The breakfast was great, and they stored our luggage after checkout while we explored Prague for the day. The location was perfect for being between the airport and the city center.

It's about a 10 minute walk to the convenient public transportation. Not really a problem, but good to be aware of. Coming in late at night, the walk from our bus stop was over a kilometer through the nearby hills with LOTS of stairs. (It was actually a pretty cool walk, but for people with any mobility issues it would have been catastrophic.)

Location. Staff. Comfort. Value for money. The hotel is only 100 meters from a metro/bus station and only 15 mins from the airport. Perfect for a 1 night layover at Prague with a very early departure next morning. The staff are super friendly and very much into helping out. They also reserved an airport taxi for us, which picked us timely at 4am.

I liked mostly everything during our stay. I didn't like that the key has to be placed in a socket to turn on electricity in the room, including outlets and refrigerator. It would be very nice to have the electricity working to preserve food or keep drinks cold without having to rely on the card key.
