front desk staff were outstanding, breakfast was excellent, location superb. rooms very small but very clean and extremely comfortable beds- the best hotel beds I have ever encountered.

I had a very bad experience with the lady who was in charge of clean8ng the rooms. I left prescription medication in a night table drawer, and when I returned to the hotel to try to recover it, she was arrogant, aggressive and extremely rude. she proudly told me that she threw out my medication and was almost insulting in her manner. it really ruined what had been an outstanding stay at your hotel.. very unfortunate.

The location of the hotel is very good, being near most of the tourist attractions (LOUVRE, SAINT CHAPELLE, PONT NEUF, PONT DES ARTS, etc.) Impeccable cleanliness and very comfortable bed. Possibility to store luggage a few hours before/after check-in/check-out

The check-in experience was terrible. You should have more flexibility in this regard because I understand the strict policy of the hotel regarding the check-in time, but since we arrive an hour earlier at least the documents should be prepared by the time of check-in even if the room key we receive at the fixed time, not a minute less. And more attention, please, to the management of the Bookin platform, in the sense that although it was a prepaid reservation without the possibility of free cancellation, I was requested at the reception to make the payment. This was fixed immediately but could have been avoided by studying the reservation more carefully.

Hotel Académie was our little sanctuary in the heart of Paris. We were warmly greeted and taken care of by our exuberant and friendly hosts. The beds were extremely comfortable and rooms were quiet, so we slept very well each night ...along with the help of the AC (which worked like a charm) for those hot summer nights. The deep jetted tub was a good way to relax after lots of walking. The junior suites were spacious and airy, and the small fridge and coffee maker were appreciated. Excellent location, close to restaurants and shops, museums and attractions, Metro and bus lines.

The junior suites have an inner courtyard view which is not too exciting. However we could see some sky and sunlight, so that was much better than other courtyard views I've experienced. It also made for a quieter stay than street side.

Excellent place to stay in Paris! Perfectly located 5 mins walk from all the restaurants and the heart of St Germain, close to the river, the Louvre, the Musee d’Orsay…just spot on. The bed was incredibly comfortable - we slept very well all 3 nights we stayed, and the room was quiet. The shower was very good, not the highest pressure but with a nice big shower head. The room was spotlessly clean with beautiful fresh linen, and it was cleaned and rearranged beautifully every night of our stay. Finally, the service was excellent - kind, attentive and keen to help. Patricia in particular made us feel very welcome.

The head height across most of the bathroom was quite low - I’m 6ft3 / 190cm and I could stand up in part of it including the shower but it was too low to stand straight in front of the sink. Not a major issue by any means though.

I booked a room believing that I was booking a room like in the photo that Booking.com had on its websight. The Standard Room is actually around 3 x 3 meters. Extremely small. Very tight shower room. Too small for larger people. Luckily the hotel gave us an upgrade which was great. The next room up is fine with a large bathroom which worked for us very well. However, the photo that Booking.com showed was of a Junior Suite - I was given a tour of all three sizes by the hotel manager to be clear where the mistake was made.

Please send me an explanation of why this happened. The staff of Académie Hôtel Saint Germain were excellent and I will stay there again based on their good character and professionalism. It's a great hotel and I have stayed there before.

perfect location, lovely decor, very very clean, comfortable bed, lovely sheets, loving welcoming staff (bar one), cute little bar and side sitting room in reception area, large lift (for Paris).. will definitely come back. location was exceptional, close to Louvre, Saint Michel, Seine .. 2 min walk to Les Deux Maggots, Gucci and a Monoprix and taxi rank very close by too. Perfect !

The staff were so great but one was very odd - not made for this service industry at all - she seemed angry and defensjve almost and gave me bad advice saying I didn’t need to book taxi for Tuesday morning and then turned out there were none available that morning and I could have missed my train home. So only small negative part of an otherwise perfect stay.

The hotel is in a fabulous location. We got the metro from Gare de Nord to Saint Germain de Pres and the hotel was a 3-4 minute walk away. We were able to check in immediately at 10:30am which was great. We headed straight out and walked down to the river which was about a 4 minute walk, and then the Louvre was just over the first bridge, another 4-5 minute walk. Notre Dame about a 10-15 minute walk to the right and Eiffel Tower to the left. just such a great location to get to places quickly - lots of metro lines and buses…and scooters!

There wasn’t enough tea/ coffee and milk provided in the room for our 2 night stay I would say but the receptionist did help rectify this. Room is small but gorgeous and bed super comfy and luxurious sheets and mattress.

The hotel location between Bld St Germain and the Seine is very convenient and quiet. The hotel is styled in traditional French decor. Our room was comfortable and well equipped and access to the 4th floor was by lift. We loved the bath robes. The bath with in built spa feature was unexpected and delightful after a long day walking. Staff were friendly and helpful and efficiently organised a taxi to the Gare de Lyon.

The only comment is the relatively compact room and thus the slightly cramped feeling despite having a single suitcase stand, however this is normal for Paris in this price range. The room still managed to fit in a beautiful bath , hanging robe with safe, desk, chair and foot stool.

The location is perfect right at the heart of saint germain des pres!Beautiful lobby and hotel room.I really like our window view looking out at the street!Just a wonderful parisian experiences.The tv is huge too ❤️ Staff was super friendly all the time.Walking distance to cafe de flore.We really love strolling around the neighbourhood.Super safe even at night.

Toilet amenities could be better.Maybe can upgrade their shower gel & shampoo amenities to a better brand and update their hairdryer to a new one.But it was all good im quite happy just that it will improve the overall experiences if all of it are upgraded.

The location is excellent - a short walk to Blvd St-Germain; three blocks to each of two Metro stops; a half-mile walk to the Louvre. The staff is amazing and speaks many languages.

The rooms did not provide any place to unpack and store clothes. The closet is tiny and there are no bureaus. We had to live out of our suitcases for four days. Not the first time we've done that, but it's not our preference.
