Hotel du Dragon

It's a charming hotel in a great location. The room was attractive and comfortable.

My room was on the top floor, which could be challenging for some people, because there is no elevator and the staircase is narrow, winding, and steep. The breakfast was pretty expensive for what it was. The coffee is not great.

On a quaint Parisian side street in the trendy St Germain neighborhood, Hotel du Dragon offers good sized rooms. Can’t beat location with easy access to Metro. Oodles of dining options around every corner. Be sure to visit the exceptional Binome bakery across street! Be advised no AC if you are there in summer, but windows open for fresh air circulation. Remember, you’re in Paris to wander and explore, not spend time in your hotel room! Dragon is a great location with reasonable price for city.

The location of Hotel du Dragon is really second to none! The rooms are really good with a cute look and modern finish. Both me and my partner loved it and felt right at home for the three nights we stayed there. The warm reception we got was phenomenal and we couldn’t be more thankful to the staff for that. We will no doubt go back to Hotel du Dragon during our future visits to Paris.

Excellent location: - We were two women and felt very safe walking around the area / coming back from the metro late at night. - Can walk to the all the main attractions. - Lovely bakery just up the road for breakfast & purchase of a packed-lunch (the hotel does provide breakfast if required). Good sized room and the non-smoking room was definitely smoke free. Nice period hotel with spiral staircase. Ability to leave luggage and pick up later in the day prior to travelling home. Very friendly staff and will be coming back

Probably being over critical for a 2* hotel but ..... - There is no air conditioning and had one hot sweaty night. Our room was on the front on the hotel so if the window was open it was a little noisy (at times) but didn't disturb my sleep. May be quieter at the back of the hotel. - In our room, the shower fitment didn't have a hook on the wall so you had to sit down in the bath and use as a hose.

The location is very good. The bed is very comfortable. The room is small but newly renovated. Great for showering and resting for the next day.

The stairs are small. If you have any physical limitations, it could be a problem. The room had a strong smell of paint, but I believe that's because of the recent renovation. Breakfast is quite simple. For us, it wasn't worth it.

Location was perfect for our requirements. Short walks to several Metro lines, lots of nearby restaurants and cafes. Our room had a nice table in it that we found very useful. As my wife as mobility challenges we appreciated being on the first floor with only one flight of stairs.

Sound carries from other rooms very easily. Auto lights in the halls did not always trigger for my wife.

The location is excellent, the room is clean, the bed is ok, the pillows are terrible though. The bathroom is good. I did not have problems with Wi-Fi, and I did not have breakfast in the hotel. I would say I had a good experience.

I was on the 5th floor and there was no elevator! room was warm but could not open window because of the strong smell of paint from construction on a building -outdoor patio wasn't available for the same reason-the room could of used a fan

The location was really great!! There was a hair dryer and everything was clean. And the subway station and the bus stop were close, so I could easily go around the major attractions in Paris. If I go to Paris again, I will stay here again.

The Wi-Fi connection was weak, but there was no problem using it.

Great location! Easily walkable to the metro and many great restaurants and shops. Saint Germaine des Pres is upscale and delightful. The room was small but comfortable and clean and provided us with everything we needed.

The street was quiet at night which was nice but the hotel was a little noisy until late at night. Many doors closing and voices carrying up the courtyard - maybe this can be expected in a small European hotel.
