Hotel Caumartin Opéra - Astotel

The hotel is in an excellent location for many sights, particularly Le Louvre, Madeleine, Opera Palais Garnier & the department stores with their wonderful, rooftop views. The room was pleasant with comfortable beds and extra touches, such as a selection of free cold drinks. Every member of staff we met was friendly and welcoming, particularly the lovely Milouda who did a brilliant job running the breakfast room. There is a very good selection for breakfast, nice & fresh and topped up regularly. When breakfast is cleared away, a selection of snacks and hot and cold drinks is put out for you to help yourself to at any time. We would certainly stay here again.

Close location to Opera. Many restaurants close by. Excellent wifi. Free minibar refreshed everyday (alcohol free only drinks). Friendly staff (I was asked if I prefer lower or upper level of my room). Excellent breakfast (huge variety to choose from), good coffee. Possibility to get free coffee/tea during day in other hotels of this chain around Paris (you get a map of them). So far the best hotel (out of 10 approximately) that I had in Paris.

I would like to have a bigger wardrobe and more hangers for shirts and jackets (on a week long business trip I need more stuff to hang properly).

Location in 9th Arr. couldn’t have been better for us— great selection of restaurants within a block or two— transportation options very close by—taxis, bus, Metro, train or easy walking to shopping and main Paris monuments & museums. great breakfast included with light beverages and snacks available rest of day. staff was very courteous & helpful

the only drawback was the construction noise going on at the property next door. While the room was very small, it was quiet at night and comfortable for the 2 of us.

The location of the hotel is amazing - perfect!!! Breakfast was excellent and with a lot of variety and complete. The proposal of the free "snack bar" in the afternoon was also very useful and innovative.

The room was quite comfortable, but without any view. We were in a standard room for 2 persons and there was very little space to store the luggage of both of us.

Perfect location, also the hotel is very cozy, the staff is very welcoming. From 2pm until 2am there's a snack and drinks counter available for free. Also the minibar includes drinks that are free of charge and gets refilled every day. There are 17 hotels from this company across Paris and, as a guest, you can step in and have a snack and drink free of charge. I will definitely choose this hotel if I go back to Paris.

Nice little hotel in a convenient location. The staff were excellent and the breakfast very good.

The room was a bit small with no drawers for storage. Bedside drawers or a desk with drawers would have helped. No handhold for getting in and out of the over bath shower which was difficult for my partner and felt unsafe. Would use again if they fixed those items.

If I'm being picky, breakfast could be a little better overall

Really great location - Louvre only 15 minute walk. Small room but perfect for a single traveler. Lovely staff and immaculate room. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again in the future. I chose room only as there are plenty of cafes nearby. Complimentary water in room and small city supermarket very close.

Really friendly staff, good English. Very good value for money, the property is a bit dated but clean. Water pressure and temperature in the shower is good, the shower is in the bath which might not be good for older people. Comfy beds. The free snack area (free tea/coffee and pastries and some sweets) and free drinks in the room is a nice touch. The area is very safe (traveling as a single mother with two kids) and a q-park parking across the street at 20,- per 24hr if booked online. The restaurants in the area are quite expensive but in this street there are a couple of decent priced ones and a convenience supermarket as well. Location is great at 15 minutes walk to the louvre.

Overall a good experience and good value for money.

The room was big enough,clean and the location was wonderful. Close to the metro, bus and train. Breakfast was not included, however drinks from your minibar and sweet and salty snack from 2pm until 2am are included. This fit our schedules very well.

My bedside light had an arm that did not work and the bathtub had some wear and tear. There was a leak from the bathroom sink and they fixed it perfectly by the next day. I do wish they would remind guest of the city tax when we checked in. The elevator was not always reliable.
