Hôtel Royal Opéra

I’ve stayed here previously when I travelled to Paris with my friend. So I decided to stay again when I returned to Paris with my mum!! The hotel, room and staff on both occasions exceeded all expectations - everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay across the weekend!! The hotel is in a great location with connections with the Roissy Shuttle Bus to the airport and close to multiple Metro stations/restaurants/bars! The rooms are a great size, clean and comfortable bed to make the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone :)))

Staff at reception was great, they even allowed us to check in 3 hours earlier and made adjustments for us to have a double bed instead of 2 singles, since we are a couple. Room and bathroom were clean. I really liked the coffee at breakfast, it was actually somehow the best coffe we had during our stay in Paris 😊 Location is perfect, I think you can't get better for this price.

Bed was too short. I know we are both tall, but still, I think bed length of 2m should be a standard. Also, breakfast could have had just a bit more of variaty, i. e. some sausages and fried eggs.

Staff were lovely and accommodating. Couldn't help enough with the couple of queries we had. Night Porter was especially lovely and happy to chat to us when we arrived very late on our first night. Location was perfect for us, going to a gig at L'olympia and lots of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby - spoiled for choice. We didn't have breakfast included but we saw same guests each morning enjoying their breakfast. Facilities suited us fine and had everything we need. Suits a couple for a long weekend looking to explore and somewhere comfy to relax after walking Paris!

Hotel was in a very good location and and we loved every second of our stay! We usually choose 5 star hotels when we travel but this time we chose more affortable and comfy hotel and got suprised, that we loved it so much! Very good bed to sleep and again the location is just the best! 3 minutes walking from the hotel you can find amazing restaurant Perruche with an amazing eiffel tower view, our stay in Paris was perfect! Excellent hotel with all facilities made my stay extremely comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful - special mention for Christelle and Virginia at the reception who are so pro-active, sweet and always ready to lend a helping hand. The location is a cherry on the cake as the hotel has multiple metro stations at a walking distance and has many cafes / restaurants / supermarkets / shopping centers nearby. I would highly recommend Hotel Royal Opera whether you are coming on a leisure / business trip - this is the place to be :)

The breakfast was perfect, it was beyond my expectations, there’s not many choice a of food but it is totally enough. We liked the location it was very close to everything, we always went by foot rather than with public transportation. The staff was really nice and helpful, it was all we could have ever imagined for our Paris trip stay.

The room was a bit small, but it didn’t bother us because we only went there to sleep. And the shower temperature was a bit heavy to handle.

The staff were EXCEPTIONALLY friendly, helpful and flexible, and all in a very genuine way (which is rare enough to be mentioned!). Rooms were compact but well-furnished, equipped with air conditioning - a definite bonus. Last but not least, the location is perfect: a stone's throw from la Madeleine, walking distance to Concorde and Opéra, close to metro and RER, and with plenty of cozy restaurants and bars in the streets close to the hotel. An ideal spot to spend a long weekend in Paris :-)

Breakfast was OK but not exceptional, we would have appreciated some fruit/healthier options. Beds are comfortable but on the short side :-) And finally, the hotel is clean and well-kept, but the building itself is old. This shows in some lack of sound proofing, thin walls...

The location is great, 3 minute walk from major street with shops restaurants and cafes and a metro station. On the road of the hotel there is already several cafes and restaurants. The bed was incredibly comfortable!! The staff were friendly and the breakfast was a pretty standard continental.

The only major downside to this hotel is the room size. The rooms are very small, so you can barely put your suitcase on the floor. Also the bathroom is tiny. Maybe it was just our room and others are bigger, I am not sure.

Paris is very expensive, but this hotel has more reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly. The room was small, but clean and quiet. The location is great, walking distance from Place de la Concorde and Arc de Triomphe. I didn't use the metro, which is also close by, because I rented e-scooters and e-bikes that are also close by. The breakfast isn't much but it's okay.

The breakfast could be a bit better.

Incredibly good location, you can simply walk to a lot of attractions in the center or take the subway or the bus for 2-3 stations. Good water pressure even the room was at the last floor. Room had two types of power sockets and also USB charging slots. Breakfast consisting of pastries, juice, cheese, meats (continental breakfast). You can store your luggage if you arrive earlier or even after checkout, if your plane/train leaves later.

The room was a bit smaller than expected but it was comfy. Breakfast could be a little bit more diversified.
