Hotel Opéra Marigny

Probably the best part about this hotel is its location. The hotel is walking distance from not one, but 3 metro stations, so we were able to easily navigate the city. The area is also very quiet and feels safe. The staff was great, the young man at the reception even made us a list with sport bars recommendations where we could go watch the Champion's League final (we arrived in Paris on the day of the 2022 final). The room was quite small (as to be expected in Paris at most hotels, no surprise there), but it made good use of its space.

Breakfast is in the small reception area, very basic, but enough for the 3 nights we spent there. We sometimes had to wait for the cook to refill the eggs & bacon stations as they ran out pretty quickly. Room amenities don't include slippers, which would have been nice considering it's a 4-star hotel.

The room was a duplex and it was spacious. The jacuzzi was great, we enjoyed looking at the sky outside through the little window above it during bath time (it was on the top floor). The hotel was fairly central, with reasonable walking distance to Paris attractions/big shopping centres. Multiple good restaurants nearby. Polite staff and very responsive to our requests.

It looks a bit outdated to be a 4-star hotel. We were given a different room for our first night (out of 4) on arrival due to an "accident" in our expected room and this room wasn't as nice as our expected room and we got charged the same price (?). The jacuzzi was directly outside the small bedroom (with no door), so it is a bit inconvenient if you want privacy,

Great location. The street where hotel is located is quiet and safe, but a few steps further there is the very center of town with cafes, restaurants, the Louvre, and shops. It is in a prestigious area where fancy shops are located. Great place as a hub for exploring Paris. Room itself was good, there are no complaints, only thing we were surprised by is that ceiling is a bit low, people above 2 meters might not be so comfy, but I suppose this is expected in Paris. Breakfast was surprisingly good with many options, but you have to come early or there will be fewer choices. Overall very recommended.

Small room but that’s to be expected in Paris. The shower entrance is very narrow and would be difficult to enter for someone who’s plus size/larger size.

Very good location (20 min walking distance from the Louvre and just a block away from Madeleine metro station), located on a very quiet street which we appreciated when travelling as a family. Breakfast was very good with everything we could ever want. The breakfast is served in the lobby, which is quite small but there was plenty of room for us as we came early (at 7am).

Breakfast was a bit pricy (EUR 50 for a family of four)

Excellent location merging quiet surroundings and close enough restaurants and metro. Staff is exceptionally nice especially the lady that is most if the time at the reception and Benjamin . Breakfast is excellent for value . At one time we mentioned that the milticereal bread was finished and the person in charge did a 2 min sprint to a close bakery to bring some . We really felt that the persons in charge cared for us . Payment is done at checking in. . The lady at the reception later on gave us back fifty euros because she had a false assumption about tax for our children. Really an honest gesture as we could never would have knew about it. After leaving to the airport I received an email saying that there are items that I left behind ( I did it deliberately because the suitcases were full) and if I wanted them back. True professional people! Definitely a place to recommend.

The room size is a bit small. There is a coffee machine in the room with two capsules. Unfortunately no refill is available for the following days. During the bath the water is consistently very hot despite turning the knob toward cold.

We were very happy with this hotel. The staff were always very pleasant & helpful with requests. The double bedroom was a little smaller than we had expected including the bathroom. However the room was exceptionally clean and great air conditioning system in place. The bed was very comfortable & we loved the bathroom facilities. Breakfast was also good with a buffet option for every need.
