ibis Paris Gare du Nord Château Landon 10ème

Location was quiet and 10-12 min walk from the station. Lots of restaurants at walkable distance to the hotel giving plenty of options to eat.

When I checked in, I think the guests who had used the the room before us had smoked and the smoky smell still existed. We checked in late and it was a Friday night, the hotel was fully booked so could not change the room! However, the room was deep cleaned the next morning when we had gone out and the smell was taken care of. I think this could have been done in the first place before the room was given to us. Anyways, appreciate they sorted the issue next day!

Not the biggest of rooms for 2 but certainly adequate and I think typical compared with other hotel rooms in Paris I looked at when booking. I chose this hotel for it's proximity to the Eurostar and it was a short walk from there....(there is a nearer one just across the road). Staff were polite and helpful. All in all for the price in August compared to other hotels i thought it was excellent. Also lots of lovely little places to eat very close by, a Thai just across the road, Italian, supermarkets, post office, hairdressers etc.

Nothing - if i had to be picky - no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there were kettles in the lobby and water to refill bottles etc.

Excellent location. We arrived in Paris from London via Eurostar, and the hotel can be reached easily with a short walk. Lots of cafes nearby. Rooms are small, which is expected after viewing information online, but very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff are friendly, and lobby offers fresh, cold drinking water including still and sparkling. Very tasty breakfast with lots of options. Easy access to metro station and direct ride to CDG airport without having to transfer. Hotel also provides room service daily, so wonderful to have clean towels every single day. Good sized bathrooms with nice shower. Rooms have free Wi-Fi and USB to charge cell phones so you don't have to use adopters.

Nothing at all. This is a wonderful place to stay in Paris with a reasonable price.

This hotel was really good value for money it had all we needed for a 3 night city break. Luggage storage lockers were really helpful too. Hotel receptionist checked us in early when we arrived which was super helpful.

Area is not the best at night when leaving the metro however this seems to be a common problem in Paris with groups of males gathering at the top of the metros. Doors to the rooms were really loud and heavy so it sounds like people are constantly banging and slamming doors- this made our room shake a few times. Shower didn’t seem to maintain its temp however this was sometimes quite nice when it had been hot during the day.

The variety of breakfast is the best. The rooms are okay, but I missed the toilet brush in the bathroom. Every day, they cleaned our rooms and changed towels. I didn't expect this and was quite surprised. Lovely accommodation for family, close to the two train stations, and you can reach Montmartre by a walk of 30 minutes.

Small space around the toilet. I am unsure if it's possible to change, but it would be nice to consider it for the subsequent refurbishing. You can watch only French programs on TV, but it is nice to learn French if you like it.

The room was a decent size - like every other Ibis. The receptionists were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the classic continental breakfast with lots of options so we were pretty happy. The location was amazing, 7 mins walk from the train station, 2 mins walk from Metropolitan, 20/25 mins to the City centre. I would definitely go back!

They could provide a couple more towels as we found only two - not even big - so it was quite tricky in the bathroom. I saw some bad reviews on that. Maybe a couple of face towels size more would be great. We asked the receptionist for two more towels one night, and no probs the guy gave them to us but the next morning the cleaner replaced them 4 with - still - 2

The place is quite nice, if you are a "walking" tourist, this is the best choice. The room is small but it is a good point because the climate stay cool the temperature in warm days very quickly. The stations, bakeries, shops are close to the hotel. My trip was only 3 nights so not so long, but long enought to discover a slice of the city. I recommend the hotel!

The room has no fridge, maybe this is the only negative point. :) (we ate street and cool foods, so no problem)

The location of this hotel is great, less than a 10 minute walk from Gare Du Nord. It was close to some lovely restaurants as well. The hotel itself was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a tad small but perfectly adequate for 2 people. Bathroom was lovely, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent, they had a range of pastries, cereal, toast, yoghurt and fruit. Staff were very nice and always offered to fill our water bottles for us!

We had issues with our keycard as it would fail almost everyday, so we had to keep going to reception to get this reset. Staff were always available to help so it wasn't a major issue, just an inconvenience. Also there is no safe in the room, but we just locked our suitcases everyday.

Very useful for Gare du Nord, a few minutes walk. Other than that it's standard Ibis. Everything is good and clean and exactly how it always is. Also it was Halloween and school holidays when we were there and while we don't have kids ourselves we could see that they'd done a lovely job decorating the place with treats for the youngsters - and this is actually relevant the rest of the year too because a hotel that goes that little bit extra is always going to be a welcoming place.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the accommodations were adequate and the cold continental breakfast was nice, better than your avg continental breakfast in the US. Free WiFi was really weak tho and I often had to login back in but at least it’s free. Hotel rooms in Europe are generally very small but mine was a triangle that was on the nose of the old building so it was especially small and did not match the pictures. For the size my nightly total should have been cheaper. I only used it to sleep in so it was passable.

For $183/night I expected better value. There was no AC, and it was very humid in June, as hot at high 90s. The room has no fridge, coffee/tea station, safe, complementary water bottle like most hotels. The shower was so small that from the glass and wall I was standing shoulder to shoulder and I’m an avg sized woman. I cannot imagine anyone bigger than me fitting into that shower.
