B&B Hotel Como

Very friendly and very helpful staff! As in reception as in kitchen. Any question you have, you get detailed answer. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. For breakfast, there is everything you need for the morning. We parked our car in Hotel underground Garage (also possible outside on a hotel parking front of the entrance), and then used only train, it's 5 minute walking from hotel to "Como Camerlata" station, and then 9 minute by train to the "Como Lago" station which is directly on a lake, ticket is only 1,5€ and easy to buy with machine on a station. Milan central station is 30 minutes from same station Como Camerlata and costs only 5€ (fast train goes from Platform 4-5, not 1-2, :) 4-5 are not visible from 1-2 you need to walk underground, so don't miss the train :). We have been there 5 nights, never used a car. If you don't necessarily have to stay in middle of the city center, then this hotel is very nice to stay, we would recommend this 100%.

Good price for the value, good location between autostrada and city of como, many grocery shops in the near (by car).

The most rooms for 3 persons have a window view to a inner courtyard (you look at a wall on the opposite side). You can't open this window, only ongoing ventilation. The elevators need a restauration. The garage code is sometimes impossible to input. Drive carefully and slowly into the garage, the threshold at the gate is high. This are only details good to know. The hotel is good, clean and to recomend.

I liked that it delivered what they promised in Booking.com. It was easy check-in in the night at 10.40 pm. Sweet Martina, Francesco ( I am not sure of his name), staff member who helped with our bags was so kindhearted and were the best as they were our contact points. Thanks for going an extra mile to help us guiding us. Rooms were super clean, fresh. Food was good. It is so worth for your money. Bus stops are right in front of the hotel.

Keep in mind - Need to take the bus to the city central. You should have the transport app downloaded before getting into a bus. Some drivers can be merciless and scream at you in Italian for not being able to read their language. So be prepared and ready before travel by bus.

Everything was smooth. There was a one big double bed and 1 single bed in the room. And there was a very big balcony in the room. If you plan to spend the night in a hotel, it would be a good place to sit outside at 30 degrees. The bathroom was clean. Finally, breakfast was enjoyable and cost-effective. We liked the breakfast diversity. There is also an underground garage just for hotel customers which is perfect.

If you don't have a car with you. It is a little far away from the center of the como. Approximately 8 min to center by car. Bad thing for room. It was like 3 people room but there was just 1 plug in the room and 1 plug in the bathroom which is very few.

Hotel Como was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our spacious room with a small closet space and an area to walk about near the foot of the bed. The bathroom was clean and included ample towels and soap. The skylight was a neat feature, we loved that there was air conditioning, and we appreciated the multiple light switches for diverse lighting options.

When we arrived, one of our beds had sheets with sizable yellow stains near the middle of the bed, but the hotel reception was quick to get someone to help change the linens. The power went out (we think) late at night and a bright emergency light came on while we were trying to sleep which was unfortunate. Also, it rained during our stay and the sound of rain pounding on our skylights was very loud and woke us up multiple times throughout the night.

We stayed at the hotel whilst visitting family in the area, it was local and very close to the centro area so suited us completely. To say we were shocked at how good the Hotel was is the understatement of the year ...professional, friendly, helpful, informative but above all else it felt like family had welcomed us....sooooo friendly its unbelievable.... Breakfast was varied and fresh, reception was a breeze, and the rooms are very very clean and tidy, bed was uber comfy ...in short the whole thing was an experience we enjoyed thoroughly..

The hotel is great. free parking in front of hotel. A luxury. Hotel is very decent and affordable. minimalistic but it worked for us (family with a 4 year old). Checking in was "person"-less. Sent IDs via email...checkedin automatically via a screen and key access via 6 digit code. ultra modern :)

Some extra furniture would be good. It seemed too minimalistic and quite a lot of empty space in our big family room. Didn't see anything about breakfast "deals" or if there was any. I've seen the sign but not sure how many people actually use it.

What I like the most? - The service, kindness and dedication of the personnel. Francesco at reception desk, gives a exceptional service: he helped us with all our needs. Thanks a lot Francesco! - The parking. There is free open parking and also garage parking available. - The facilities. There is a sweets and beverages dispenser machine available at the lobby, in case you would like to eat something at midnight. There is also in reception a shelf with basic products you can buy in case you forgot sometheing at home (for example toothbrush and toothpaste, etc.) and other basic products you might need. - The breakfast. The personnel at breakfast room was also very kind, we could finish our breakfast with calm even when we were the last to arrive. - The dinner. there is a grill restaurant close by and the hotel has an agreement with them (10% discount). The food was excellent. - The price. Excellent price-value relation in this hotel.

Lake Como was beautiful. Hotel was on a bus line. Supermarket 300mtrs away. Train station 350mtrs away. Balcony you could sit and eat on and get fresh air. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

All of Como has very limited taxis available. Virtually impossible to get a taxi. Had to walk to train station, with luggage in pouring rain. Tourist information centre, not very knowledgeable on public transport.

Very comfortable room and pleasant staff. The only improvement I would make is a refrigerator.
