Albergo Le Due Corti

First and foremost, the staff are fantastic. I was travelling alone and they made my stay much more enjoyable. Great location, within easy walking distance of the many fantastic restaurants. Hotel itself was lovely - compact but had everything needed. A rarity - I was lucky enough to get one of the hotel secure (off-street) parking spaces. Secure bicycle storage. I could go on.

Room was quite hot - likely my ineptitude - but the air conditioning didn't seem to cool the room sufficiently. This was compounded by the fact that the clever electronic window, didn't work - which meant I could not open it. The staff were however great and managed to fix it after a couple of days.

Breakfast was amazing! Very broad assortment of choices. All the staff was more than kind as well. Good service and good energy, friendly people. The room was nice as well: the bed, shower and even the chair were comfortable. The location was good, because you could either walk up to the lake through the city or take a bus right outside the hotel. Really had a wonderful stay here.

The one and only dislike I have was that the room was quite noisy. My room was on the streetside and if I didn’t wake up from outside noises, I usually woke from other guests walking the hallways and chatting loudly. I am a light sleeper though.

The hotel is in a good location, with just a 15 walk from Como Lago rail station and 5 minutes from the old streets of Como town. The hotel serves a great choice for breakfast. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and the A/C worked well. Special mention to Claudio - a private car driver, who got us to Cremona on the day of a rail strike.

Although our room was serviced every day, with clean towels, we had the same small bottle of water and glasses after 3 days. Our coffee/tea tray was not refilled. I do think this could be improved. The room had a small Nespresso machine, but it does not make good tea! So a small kettle is preferred and Nespresso pods are pricey. Tea bags snd coffee sachets are much less expensive.

good location and 2m walk away from the old city, the staff are super amazing, very friendly and hopefully, I had a soar throat, and they were kind enough to make me mint tea with honey. they are even trust worthy, every day I left several of my belongings, as they could not fit in the security box

for 200$ a night, for a very tiny room, also, I had to have very quick showers, due to water leak that flooded the whole bathroom, I told the staff twice about it, but nothing was done.

Lorenzo and Mechelle were wonderful in taking the time to assist us with our many questions and trip planning of Como. They helped make our trip so much for the better. The bartender is also a very nice, hardworking, and helpful gent of a person (sorry I do not have his name). Every staff member in this hotel really works hard and pulls their weight, and we were very impressed and happy to have found this wonderful hotel with a great history and location. The staff all had great recommendations for places to visit and things to do. We loved our room and were very happy that we upgraded to the suite. Drapes to darken the room for sleeping are great! Both my wife and I thought the daily breakfast was simply wonderful, and helpful for this time of the day. We'd do it all again! (Jay & Terry)

We'd much prefer to have a shower overhead vs. the 'telephone' held shower; not seen or used to this previously. (Water cold in the am too.) The door in BR was missing a towel hook. Would prefer no charges for the items in Mini-Bar and to be replaced anything used daily; to be included in the existing room charge.

This hotel was perfect for our four-night stay. Despite the fact that we booked at the very last minute, the front desk staff are very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable, the breakfast offering is very good and fresh and the service staff provided quick coffee service. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean and the location is ideal for exploring Como.

Would have preferred a shower as the tub with a wand requires a bit of forethought and careful manipulation, but we had not requested a shower specifically so managed to figure it out.

Very helpful and friendly staff, convenient location, nice old-fashioned hotel with classic flair. Also very good breakfast.

In my room one of the two curtains that should have been on the curtain rail was missing. There was no blind or anything else so half the window was completely exposed to the light coming in - that was really not ideal and not something I'd expect in a 4 star hotel. Also the focus on 19th-century German military drawings was a slightly odd choice of decor - don't know if that's everywhere or just my room - but a little strange.

Really great. Fresh fruit, fresh bread, lots of good ham and cheese. Huge selection of pastry. A delight.

The first room offered had no windows only skylight. As I am claustrophobic I asked if it was possible to change. A very helpful Lorenzo did so at once with no problem. He then went on to help us with times of trains, printing boarding cards and patiently answered all our questions. He was very, very helpful as were all the staff.

My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights and we cannot recommend this place enough. The staff was incredible and gave us detailed explanations to all of our many questions. Davide and Motaz at reception were wonderful and gave us so much helpful information, and made us feel right at home during our stay! Will definitely be returning. We also loved Billy, who kept us laughing the whole stay!

Breakfast ! Staff at reception and breakfast. I appreciate having linen serviettes and tablecloths, rare these days. Location is great !
