Hotel Borgovico

This lovely boutique hotel was on a quaint street just outside the main city center and very close to the San Giocomo train station. I was a bit concerned that it wasn't going to be as good as the pictures, but instead, it exceeded my expectation from the size of the room, the bathroom, the comfort of the bed/pillows and the unique experience. Wendy who checked us in was amazingly helpful, Luca was there each night to greet us after dinner and helped us print some tickets to an event we were attending, and Laura was there every morning with an amazing smile and happily got us our espresso and breakfast.

There was nothing that I didn't like at this hotel. It exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The room was so beautiful designed, the bed was very comfortable. Just one note, it is pretty short. I am 1,73m and laying down straight my feet looked out. But overall it was amazing! Everything was walkable and super close to the lake. Parking is possible in a public parking for a day fee.

Good location and friendly staff. Clean comfortable room with 2 large beds and all basic amenities. Our room did not have lift access, but the staff was kind enough to carry our luggage to the room.

The room could do with a mirror in the living area as the only mirror is in the bathroom. The area outside the shower area gets wet as there is no door. Also no soap or shampoo holder in the shower area.

Modern renovated hotel with good facilities. Drinking glasses in the room and air that actually worked when set at 16 degrees C would be good.

Parking is horrible. They kept saying you park on street but not once the 3 days we were there. Had to walk 1.,5 is to car and back. The shower, whilst a large rainfall style, floods the bathroom and turn it into a skating rink.

Close to the train station. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. They kept my luggage in the lobby while the room was getting ready. They even put my luggage in the room which wasn't easy because the room was on the second floor with stairs access only. The room was a 2 story that allowed my kids to have their own section upstairs. To me the highlight was the customer service. Staff had smile all the time

Having glass cover all sides of the shower would have been nice so water doesn't spill on the rest of the bathroom floor

Location to station was within walking distance. Restaurants on the same street were great!! Easy walking to the historic centre as well. I would get breakfast just down the road (towards roundabout) they had excellent coffee and pastires. Cheaps as chips.

The elevator was a bit slow, but that's expected for most buildings in Italy.

Great location near the train station, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, adequate breakfast, modern facilities (with the biggest shower head I’ve ever seen!), handy proximity to the town center. Hard to fault!

At times it was noisy (I think due to the proximity of the train station) but this wasn’t the fault of the hotel. The shower had no door so the floor in the bathroom was often wet but this was a minor inconvenience for the luxury of the size of the shower head!

Very spacious room, convenient location from the main train station, nice amenities nearby such as a coffee shop across the road. The room was very quiet allowing for a great night's sleep. The shower was really nice.

The shower itself was great but just frustrating that the water would easily go over the rest of the floor.

very comfortable stay with kids. it's rare to find big enough rooms for family of five in the hotel for a reasonable price. Hotel is in old building, but refurbishing was well done - everything feels new and clean. Nice Italian restaurant nearby. Parking 10 minutes walk from the hotel. will defiantly return

Amazing size room. Good location. Clean. Helpful staff.

We were told ahead of time the AC was not working. That really is the only thing I could comment on. And really it didn’t not greatly impact our stay other than we were a little hotter than we’d like.
