Vista Palazzo - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Como! The luxury interiors and refined details bring reminiscent of grand italian Palazzo. A rooftop bar is a fantastic place where you want to stay all day long. I enjoyed the breakfast experience: a pleasant atmosphere, a wide choice of food, and a super friendly team. The service is unexpected; everything is so good! The hotel staff go above and beyond, and the Butler will introduce you to the best of Lake Como.

breakfast. Lots of sugary cakes and doughnuts. The americans may like to eat this sort of thing for breakfast, not sure many other nations do. I believe my breakfast choice of some nice fruit and an omelette is a fairly standard breakfast but, whilst the omelette was very nice, the fruit was pretty much an apple with the odd piece of orange thrown in, including pith! (cut up into small chunks). We stayed in a number of hotels during our break in Italy, all of which were lower rating and all of which produced lovely fresh fruit, including various choices of sliced melon, mango, strawberries, kiwi, fresh pineapple... Expected similar of a 5 star hotel - not apples!

Everything was great. Alberto was terrific!! I know people complain Ed about the construction outside, but that didn’t bother us at all. Besides, that’s the city of Como and the hotel has no control over it. Wonderful stay.

Beautiful hotel in a great location with lovely staff, this was our first 5 star hotel stay and they made us feel welcome and comfortable.

this is a small, boutique hotel, beautifully outfitted in every aspect. The attention to detail and cleanliness are remarkable. The location is superb. Every effort is made to personalize your stay. We especially enjoyed our time with the charming Alberto, and the excellent services provided by the front desk staff and breakfast room.

There is a large, freestanding bathtub featured in the bathroom. It is beautiful to look at, but actually quite uncomfortable and especially difficult for older guests to enter and exit. Even bathing was a challenge, as the tub was so large that you almost floated away. While we value a daily bath, this tub went largely unused. Also, you will incur extra charges if you wish to have breakfast in your room. A hotel at this level, where breakfast is included should simply provide this service. Similarly, any special request for breakfast items other than those on the buffet (e.g., omelette or French toast) incurs an extra charge. Again, it should be included in the breakfast options.

Everything was perfect here, probably the best hotel in Italy!

A wonderful position from which to explore the lake. The staff treat you like you're one of the 'family' from first welcome until you leave. Our room was beautiful, with spectacular views. The hotel is compact, so visitors need to organise trips and experiences to get the full value from their time in Como. Ours were utterly breathtaking - all perfectly arranged by Alberto - grazie mille, Alberto!

Very customer oriented and authentic friendly staff. Helpful staff with every wish. A nice and stylish lake view suite with a spacious bath room. Delicious food starting from in-room breakfast, to in-room dining and the really superb restaurant sottovoce. In particular the private dinner at the roof top library was remarkable. The location of the hotel in Como to reach the shopping and cathedral areas is very good. Valet parking and leaving the car in the garage parking space was very comfortable.

Very loud environment in the suite due to housekeeping service room directly behind the head area of the sleeping room. No noise isolated windows or doors in place , i.e., all indoor hallway sound of other guests and really all outdoor noise coming unblocked in the suite. Way too loud for a suite in a 5* star hotel. Moreover, no pre-information of the ongoing very loud construction noise directly in front of the hotel starting at 7.30 am in the morning all day long. Hard to reach the entrance of the hotel by car, navigation to hotel address leads to restricted area. The beds have complicated duvets to sleep with.

Good location near the pier and the large beautiful square with lake view. The room is perfectly designed, very beautiful and functional, truly a 5 star. Breakfast at the rooftop was great.

We've reserved a car pick up from Cernobbio one day before check-in, the hotel had confirmed but then canceled on us the next morning saying there was a mud slide in Nesso?!? We could not find a taxi at short notice but luckily our friend sent their car. The road in front (between the hotel and the lake) is one way, so for luggage drop-off, the driver needed to go around a big loop, was confusing the first time. They don't have own parking so if we drive ourselves, not sure where to park.

The location was sublime and the views form the restaurant were picture perfect. This hotel didn't have many facilities but its very boutique and we was happy to dine out in the evenings.

The bed sheets were a little rough, I think they use linen I would recommend a good high cotton for the price of the rooms. However the mattress was comfy and the room and bathroom was clean and spacious.
