Hotel Black Mexico City

A very beautiful and artsy high end dog-friendly hotel with an Asian flare. As an interior designer, I thoroughly enjoyed taking photos of the design of the hotel. Loved the onsite carpark as it was super handy and secure. The decorations in the lobby was gorgeous and I loved the look of their restaurant. The bedroom had a decent size bed & bathroom space. The staffs were polite and helpful. I could tell they enjoy & are proud to work there. Love the black & red colour palette. For my birthday I plan to stay at their suite in the future.

Nearly everything about the hotel was close to perfect but only 3 things for improvement for the management team in our opinion: 1. I wish they gave 2 slices of bread during breakfast instead of 1 as bread is cheap (small suggestion) 2. They need to work with Booking.com to update their information as the pet fee is apparently incorrect 3. The first room we were put into was not clean and had something bite me at night. However the receptionist was quick to resolve the issue. They put us in a different room on another floor and in the 2nd night during my stay, I finally had a good night sleep with no issue.

The staff was so nice and accomodating! My flight was delayed and I arrived tired at 4 am and they were so sweet to welcome me at that time of the night! The decor of the hotel was really arty. I loved it! And the bed was HUUUUGE and very comfy.

Maybe just the fact that the sink was in the bedroom and not the bathroom, and I dislike being seen messy in the mornings. 😂

It was a very unusual hotel. The movie theme was interesting! I liked the link to the antiques shop and garage full of unique cars. It wasn't very clear on what the hotel theme was before booking but once there we could see that it was all linked by movies.

The staff didn't speak english, but I understand that we are in a Spanish speaking country!

Muy amable el staff. La habitacion fue super comoda - la cama tambien! Very friendly staff, the bed and room were very comfortable.

Deben tener shampoo y conditioner y no solo poner jabon de cuerpo en todas las botellas/dispensadores. I wish they would have put real shampoo and conditioner in the dispenser and/or had bottles. Everything was just bodywash, which is not great for the hair.

Breakfast was interesting as the sizes of the letters on the printed menu for the dish name and dish description were really tiny.... the free breakfast was really simple but not so filling!

The food was really spicy!

I’ve spent only four hours there as my flight got delayed. it’s a basic hotel, very clean, blankets and bed sheets were smelling really good. comfortable bed.

It's a 10 minute walk from the Angel. The location is great!

The internet was very unstable, but they were very helpful in rebooting it.

The beds were very comfortable.
