it has modern and comfy design. The restaurant at the 12 floor and the bar at the top are really tasty with good service.

it is very strange the politics of the hotel: I extended my accommodation 3 times and all 3 times staff convinced me that I have to move to other room next morning because other guests will come! But I am a guest also and I occupied this room! I lived at 29 floor and I should move to the 16 floor. Of course the accommodation on 29 floor has more dramatic view to the city and more comfortable. Every morning they told me that I can keep this room. But the convinced me about moving before I packed my luggage. Than I exhausted to do it and lived with packed luggage.

You can tell this property is brand new. There was a ton of thought put into the design aspects. It is also very convenient to most attractions you’d go see by Uber. The rooftop pool is a stunner - there are skyline views, it’s actually heated, and there are jets in corners with seating, so it’s a quasi-jacuzzi. All staff were respectful and thoughtful.

The pillows are not supportive, and cleaning doesn’t appear to happen on a consistent schedule, so it’s hard to predict when the room will be taken care of or when I need to leave to make sure it happens. The food was at times excellent and at times mediocre.

There was nothing about our stay with Sofitel that we can possibly think to criticize. The view of the Angel de Independencia from our room was absolutely astounding. The room and amenities were pristine, and the cost was more than fair. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and still can't get over how good it was (I don't know if their menu changes, but get the migas if they have them). The rooftop bar offered incredible views and the best drinks we found in the city. Above all else, Sofitel's customer service was the thing that left the best impression. Every single person we encountered was cordial and willing to help, and everyone seemed so knowledgeable about the city. We asked the concierge for several recommendations and none of them disappointed us in the least. We will be staying with Sofitel again.

The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious bright and had all the amenities. The fully automated lights and curtains in the rooms were such a pleasure to have. The pool at the hotel is really great and very calming and peaceful. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The room service food could be impoved. We are vegetarian and the pasta we ordered was very bland. In general food at the hotel is very expensive and the number of vegetarian options can be increased.

I would advise paying before via booking as the hotel doesn’t take USD and has their own very generous ( for themselves) exchange rate to pesos which made the stay much more than was advertised- this was the one bad point of my stay and I feel it’s not exactly honest.

Very comfortable and spacious room. Quality linens, pillows and bathroom amenities - always important! My wife and I were ill for a few days and had to rely on Room Service which was excellent. Food arrived hot and service was good. Nicely fitted out gym which i used. Indoor pool looked very inviting too but I did not use.

Reception was on 14th floor. The elevator area on the ground floor and the 14th floor area going up to the rooms looked like they were designed by a Car Parks attendant. Really detracted from the 5* experience and let the hotel down IMO. Overall feeling of the public areas was bland and forgettable. Shame really because the rooms did feel 5*.

Absolutely everything. The room was much bigger than I'd thought it'd be from the pictures online. The internet is blisteringly fast which allowed me to get work done and enjoy streaming high quality TV & movies. The desk area in the room is absolutely ideal for doing work, with power outlets and ample room for peripherals. Room service was reliable and responsive. The in-room dining options were fantastic and the food of very high quality. Laundry service was super fast and I had every delivered in a single day. The rooms built in audio speaker capability was great for getting work done and also being able to enjoy your own music which taking a shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. The view from the room was amazing. The bathroom was impeccably stocked and gargantuan in size. The mini-bar was well stocked with a variety of interesting snacks and drinks. The hotel is also guest friendly which I did take advantage of as a solo traveller.

If I had to nit-pick one thing, it was that the TV was in a strange spot relative to the bed!

We celebrated our honeymoon here and stayed 4 nights, and loved it. The hotel is beautiful and we loved our room on the 33rd floor, facing the angel of independence! The rooftop bar, Cityzen is fun and lively. We also enjoyed the spa and its services. While we had booked a club level room, Club Millesime was closed due to covid, but we were able to enjoy breakfast and happy hour apps/drinks in their main restaurant, and all of the food was great. We had one issue with electricity in our room on one of our days there, but the staff were all very kind and accommodating and made an effort to ensure we were happy in the end. We really appreciated every person who worked here and their amazing, hospitable demeanor, even while they are working during a pandemic. We are grateful to have been able to travel to Mexico City and be able to take a honeymoon and have such a memorable and enjoyable trip in this gorgeous hotel.

Gorgeous rooms which are well designed, spacious and with a lovely view. Extremely helpful staff who went above and beyond especially Francisco at reception, the lovely pool staff and Daniel at the entrance who was super helpful with all the taxis and luggage. Housekeeping did a great job everyday. The pool area and sauna is amazing.

The people on the front desk working during my stay were Exceptional, attentive and very courteous. The facility it self, the sanitation practices and location were great. However, the behavior of the staff as it relates to hospitality was a WOW factor for me. bon travail les gars! Balta The service and quality of food were outstanding. Thank you again to the ladies and gentlemen working the front desk — they were ladies and gentlemen taking care of ladies and gentlemen, nothing shy from the Ritz-Carlton ! I hope this helps

Citizen bar, The servers were negligent and did not understand attention to detail in my opinion. I had to ask for stake knives for my stake after being served & getting cold, which it’s odd? In addition, we got our main course before our appetizer? Furthermore, servers were rarely found; In case we needed anything and for the price point and average check I excepted more in terms of value. —At one point, in the terrace my spouse was cold and when we asked if they would accommodate the heaters near our table we were told no, they wanted to give us a blanket instead. I had to leave dinner go to my suite to get a coat. We ended up moving inside the restaurant. We ended up going to other venues in Condesa and Polanco to brunch/dine instead.
