City Express Plus by Marriott Reforma El Ángel

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right across the street from the Angel of Independence and in a very central and progressive part of the city. Many restaurants, clubs, and stores of all types are within walking distance and there is a 24hr Circle K right outside the hotel. Our room was spacious with a king bed, futon, and a modern clothing storage unit.

Breakfast is included with your room charge however it’s only offered M-F 6-9 and weekends 7-10. I wish the hotel would extend the time slot 1 hour later so that my husband and I could have partaken in it. Also, if you choose to drive a car to the hotel, be advised that it’s only valet parking at MXN 150/night. There was one occasion where we had to call the front desk twice to have the room cleaned and once because housekeeping forgot to leave towels. Electrical plugs were oddly placed and there none on either side of the bed which was annoying. Also the television was small, about 24” and only played local channels and the WiFi was spotty having to reconnect several times throughout my stay.

My room has a beautiful view to the Angel de la Independencia.

They culdn´t helped my tpo set up the wifi on the first day.

Location was outstanding. Breakfast and room were very good.

The staff in general was very nice and accommodating. When we checked in after a long car ride from San Miguel de Allende, a lady at the front desk was not very helpful when I requested some information. So I was pleased that it was towards the end of her shift and a nice young gentleman, Yadir - I might be misspelling his name - took over and he was so pleasant that it took care of the first not so good impression given by the lady at the Front Desk.

It was in a great location, a short Uber trip to major tourist attractions plus it felt very safe around the hotel.

Outstanding staff cleaning, reception, maintenance and dining. Hotel got security service choose dining inside or patio with a glass door open. Feel confortable with fresh air circulating thru inside (pandemic).

Room facing the angel but, I can not see do to many trees or not trim the leaves The only tricky was breakfast : Do not mentioned the eggs to be additional charge placing the order since, was a free breakfast.

LOcation of the hotel is great! Breakfast was quite good, fresh fruit and vegetables.

The hotel is a bit dated, facilities in the room were a bit dated. It was not spotless clean, hair in the sink and on the ground in the bathroom. The room has carpet which looks not clean.

The location is exceptional, close to restaurants and walking distance from museums and shopping places

The cold breakfast, they include the breakfast in the price but the options are not attractive, there are no hot options like eggs or oatmeal. Just cold ham, cheese bread and fruit . It definitely could be better

Staff at Front Desk is very friendly and helpful, congrats! The room I got was astonishing, I absolutely loved it!

I don't quite understand why the waiters at the restaurant didn't even say "hi" on both of my two days staying with you (breakfast). Didn't feel comfortable. I asked twice to have my room cleaned, not a big problem though. Just a feedback.

Location, staff was amazing. Breakfast was vêry nice and plenty of options.

Taxes added to price at check in., rather have final total price on the booking.

Great location, right in front of Angel de Independencia win walking distance to ECOBICI bike rentals and many restaurants near by. The free breakfast is nice to get the day starting without hunger.

Tv is a small size could be better with a little bigger tv, and more channels.
