Suites Del Ángel

Our stay at Suites Del Ángel couldn't be better; we loved the clean and spacious suite, an equipped kitchenette with a coffeemaker, a microwave, fridge, and electric stove – though we didn't use anything but the coffeemaker, and the giant TV in the living room! The location is great, right in the middle of an avenue teeming with day- and nightlife, chockfull of cafes, bars and restaurants of all type; plus, the iconic Angel de la Independencia monument, symbol of the Mexican capital, is just two blocks away (hence the place's name). Also nice was the helpful, polite and friendly staff, something common in Mexico City.

That we didn't stay longer... Also, more coffee and sugar handy ;)

The bed and the shower somewhat

The location was too noisy, I asked for another room they said on more than 2 occasions they would move us but they never did, They also advertise they have a restaurant But actually it's just someone else's besides it's outside off the premises they don't have cutlery for their kitchenette nor the pans to cook and do not offer face wash clothes.the TV reception was poor and one remote control was not working properly.

A girl at the reception desk borrowed me her metrobus card, which was very nice as I didn't use metro where you can buy the card. On the metrobus stations you can only recharge the card but not to buy a new one.

There was no any towel rack or hooks in the bathroom and you have nowhere to put towels to dry. And there is sign to be green. The fresh towels are beside the sink. My suite faced back of the building so it was quiet except for noisy guests beside my room on some nights as there is no good isolation between rooms. As the street is full of restaurants the smell of cooking would enter through open window on regular basis.

Prompt response for service requests in general.

Lack of kitchen utensils, no pots, glasses nor plates and cups. Very weak WiFi even for the TV in the room. Not able to watch Netflix and not able to play apps on my cellphone .

The location, the space in the room, the cleanliness, the size of the beds and the restaurants nearby

The wifi/internet did not reach properly to the bedroom (room 308); we had bad/weak wifi signal in the main bedroom. The bathroom door had to be forced to get it to open and close and in doing so the door made a lot of noise.

The hotel is very central right next to the Angel de la independencia. There are lots of bars and restaurants around, which was great! The zona rosa is just around the corner. The room was clean and we even had a little kitchen in the room. The hotel staff was friendly. The receptionist helped us with printing our flight tickets. So all in all I would definitely stay again at Suites del Angel.

It was a little noisy in the evening/night as there is a restaurant with very loud music in front of the hotel. I didn't mind but my boyfriend has a very light sleep. The room was very clean but the interior a little old.

The bedroom was large and could be closed off from the living room, which had a comfortable couch and chairs. Both bedroom and living room had nice TVs. There were plenty of well-placed electrical outlets and 2 USB outlets on either side of the bed. The king size bed was very comfortable. Our first room was on the street, and the noise from the restaurants was not too bad, but we moved to an interior room, and it was super quiet. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Everything was neat and clean. They have a business center with two computers, and if you need to print something, you can email it to them and they'll print it in black and white. They also helped us find an affordable COVID test for our return home.

The kitchen cabinets were poorly made-- they were hung all uneven with doors with loose hinges. One broke while we were there, but they fixed it right away. The stove was electric and took a while to heat up. We had to ask for pots and pans and a cutting board, and there were no cooking basics like salt and pepper. The first room on the street was a little loud-- not bad at all considering all the restaurants on the busy street, but if you're a light sleeper, get an interior room.

All staff polite and helpful, room was spacious and well maintained. Bed extremely large and comfortable and a great room size for the bedroom.

Sound proofing between rooms is poor. You can hear people talking in ordinary voices to each other or on the phone. IF you have a thoughless neighbour it can be a problem.

Every major Spotify was close, but the area was secure 👌🏾

The window facing the hall didn't have a curtain, clarity from outside was not the best option for light sleepers. I wish the hall hadn't been no noisy.

Very good location, safe, near the city centre, the park and polanco. Clean and functional room

You can hear neighbours snoring and speaking, I could never sleep properly.
