- the location of the hotel is right in the city center - there are taxis right in front of the hotel, and a subway station and various buses are right arpund the corner - even though in front of the hotel there usually were quite some people, inside it was quiet - the breakfast was very good - the employees were always nice and helpful - there was always hot water to shower - air conditioning was working well

- the room was fairly small for the amount of money we payed (the bed + ~70cm around it and that was pretty much it), but the other positive points made up for it - the bathroom was also very small

Set in an elegant building in a lovely, central square, Boemio FLH is an ideal hotel to base yourself in Lisbon. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a very comfy bed, a great view over the square and a fabulous bathroom. The staff were friendly and obliging, in particular Gabriel and Gonçalo, who went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The continental breakfast was just right for us, and the complimentary cakes in the evenings were a nice touch. We didn't get the name of the young man who checked us in, nor the gentleman who was on the night desk, but they were both friendly and welcoming.

With so much going for it, the hotel would benefit from paying attention to a few shortcomings: the hot water flasks put out for making tea were quite often lukewarm - you need boiling water to make tea properly, so perhaps having a kettle would work better; the hanging space in the wardrobe wasn't long enough for ladies' dresses - we overheard another guest mention this as well, so it would be good to address it; finally, the bathroom could benefit from having a towel rail fitted.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Tea, coffee, cake and Port wine in the lobby were a nice touch. Breakfast looked great too although we didn't have time to take advantage of it due to our plans outside the hotel.

Really loved our stay and would stay again. The only things to be aware of are: there's no tea, coffee or fridge in the room - you have to go downstairs for that; there's only 1 elevator with room for 2 ppl, we used the stairs and were ok with that but if you need the elevator be prepared to wait - especially at peak hours; the room can get a bit stuffy, but nothing that wasn't quickly fixed by opening the window or turning on the fan.

Honestly the best hotel stay I've had. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the location couldn't have been better - walking distance to key attractions, public transport, and heaps of restaurants. The rooms were clean, modern and convenient. I'd definitely stay here again.

The rooms are small, which was fine for me as I was travelling alone but a couple may find it challenging to fit all their stuff and themselves. Not a problem, but something to note. Likewise, the plaza and laneway the hotel is located on are both very busy so it can be noisy at night - bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Amazing, welcoming staff, always there to give you super helpful advise about getting around and where to go. The location couldn't be any better, the breakfast was fantastic. The room we booked was quite small (we knew that in advance), but surprisingly convenient non the less.

The room had some bad smell that was probably coming out of the shower. The staff immediately called for service when we mentioned it and made sure to follow up on it to make sure it was better. Being is such a busy, central place, there was always a lot of street noise throughout the day right out side the window. It was more like white noise being so constant, so that did not bother us much.

Boemio FLH Hotel is the place to stay when visiting Lisbon. Location is perfect, in the city center, next to the national theater, with a bus station, a metro station and a taxi station right in front of the hotel. Intimate and original breakfast policy, with an exceptionally delicious buffet. Welcome drinks, Porto wine, coffee and homemade cake available in the hotel lobby, gave us the feeling of a true home, rather than the usual hotel feeling. The entire staff team was ever so helpful with all our questions, and so polite and kind. Strongest recommendation to all travelers, especially to those who seek to experience true Portuguese architecture and hospitality. We can't wait to come back again.

The rooms were stunning! We loved the design of it all, specifically loved the brick walls around the window with an amazing view of the square, the king bed and hanging pendant on the side of the bed. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the bathtub, because after walking all the hills and streets of lisbon, a long hot both was amazing and much needed. Upon leaving the hotel, the convenience of the little room and bathrooms were such a clever idea to be able to repack our luggages as we of course had a few extra souvenirs to bring back home. And lastly the customer service was quite exceptional. Thank you for taking care of us during our stay at Boemio FLH Hotel. It certainly won't be our last!

If I was being nit picky, the elevator was a little small. But not a big issue to me. Other than that there were no complaints. I loved everything.

I loved this place! The location can’t be beat. it truly is close to everything you need- especially all transportation options. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I know there are complaints in the reviews about street noise, but we found it manageable. yes, during the day if my windows were open there was quite a bit of street noise (the trade off for being SO centrally located,) BUT at night with the windows closed it was quiet- street noise never interrupted my sleep. Every day I looked at my husband and said “I did an awesome job booking this hotel- it’s the BEST!”

The hotel was only newly opened in recent months so everything was fresh. Our room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent and contained a large variety of options to choose from. Coffe/Tea and cake served in the foyer each day at 5pm was a nice added bonus if you decide to retreat back to the hotel to rest up for a little while before heading out again. The location was great, in quite a busy area but very central, within walking distance of a lot of attractions/areas of interest. The staff, especially Joao and Israel were so friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to look after us, arranging appointments we requested etc. Our daughter had only recently stayed in the Boemio’s sister hotel in Lisbon; Memoria, a few weeks prior to our visit and she had a similar experience with staff there also, very friendly and accommodating, including Joao who had been assisting his colleagues at the hotel when they stayed. FLH is definitely true to it’s word with this hotel.
