Hotel Santa Justa

Location is great, staff are amazing and the breakfast was one of the best selections I have seen, very good attention to details even saw proper maple syrup, and good quality olive oil. Little things matter.

Hard to find anything negative , but I would change the floors in the rooms, cheap vinyl plank flooring and then you got solid marble in the bathroom. Slope on the roof on top floor, hard for tall people,wallpaper is pealing on the walls.

Wonderful and very central location on a busy walking street with many restaurants, cafes, and shops and just a few blocks from the main plaza (Praca do Comercio). Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The shower was modern and wonderful and the beds were quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were so many nice touches to mention - there is a complementary "tea time" every afternoon where you can get coffee, tea and pastries. They have wonderful fado music in the restaurant several nights per week (we thought the group was talented) at no extra cost if you have dinner or an evening snack. The staff sent small bottles of port and chocolates and natas to the room.

We considered reserving breakfast the night before but changed our mind when we learned it was an additional charge if you didn't prebook all nights with breakfast included. This policy didn't seem consistent with this otherwise generous and accommodating hotel. The breakfast looked nice so be sure to add it when you book.

The friendly staff made us very welcome. The contents of the mini bar - water and other drinks were free. We received a welcome gift of local wine and pastries when we checked in and a box of chocolates on day two. Happy hour from 4-6 gave free drinks and cakes. The location was fantastic.

There isn't a lobby or private sitting area. As our flight left in the evening we had to check out and leave our bags at the hotel. After a busy day we returned to the hotel to sit and rest before leaving for the airport and we had to sit at a table in the street.

The room was fantastic. Bathroom was large and clean. Closet was large. The beds were very comfortable. The location was the best. We walked most of the time as we were right in the center of everything, the train station was close by as well. We did not try the breakfast but it did look good. We loved the coffee machine, supplied coffee, water, cokes. To us, these little things meant a lot to us. We would stay again here.

Excellent location right in the heart of it all. Loved the restocked mini-bar and was a life saver when returning from a hot summers day! Great air conditioning. Amazing sound insulation in the windows as the pedestrian streets can get a little noisy.

Amazing pedestrian only area to be located in, but the restaurants along those streets can be a bit aggressive trying to get you to have dinner with them and it gets tiresome every time you want to return to your hotel. The breakfast was a bit pricy if it wasn't included in your room rate. Overall loved our stay, just wished our family suite was a little larger for 3 people occupancy.

Many days before I arrived, I requested a full suite online and it was approved. Then approximately two days before I arrived I received an email stating the suite was “under maintenance”. I was assigned jr. Suite instead.

Staff were incredibly helpful. Well designed room with great rain shower and neat bathroom. A stocked fridge free of charge. Excellent restaurant. Central.

Only the bed.. would prefer a duvet cover rather than sheet and foam base is hot.

This hotel is fabulous…Absolutely the place to stay in Lisbon.

There is nothing we didn’t love about this hotel

Fantastic location - walking distance to a few attractions and plenty of choices for restaurants and souvenir shops. Good links to public transport I.e. metro, trams and boats. Hotel extras - complimentary bar restocked everyday for FREE! We always had 2 beers, sparkling water, bottled water, coke and juice. The welcome gifts of Port wine, box of pastel de nata and a bag of Lisbon souvenir is a nice touch. Also got a leaving present of wine and box of chocolates! Toiletries are well stocked and the bathroom had everything you could possibly need (they even had a sewing kit!) Staff are always helpful and always smiling. We felt very well taken care of and relaxed during our stay.

The location was excellent. Many touristic sites are within walking distance. Most of the restaurants that we had booked were also coincidentally within about 10-20 minutes walk away too. Although the hotel was in a busy location, there was no noise or other interruptions inside the room. It was an ideal base for our first visit to Lisbon. There is also free minibar in the room which is replenished daily. We had juice, waters and beer daily. There is complimentary daily tea/coffee available at the restaurant in the afternoon. It is simple self service machine tea/coffees and some pastries.

The hotel location is in a lane which is not reachable by car. Our transport driver parked about a block away and kindly helped us wheel our luggage to the hotel. When leaving we also wheeled our luggage about a block to the road to be picked up by our transport driver. It is not a problem as such but just be aware that vehicles cannot directly reach the hotel.
