TURIM Europa Hotel

Location very good 2km from centre (taxi airport EUR15/airport line Saldanha metro 10 min. walk), quiet area off main roads and good cafe/bistro bars nearby; Prince Eduardo Park 200 metres way. Room & cleaning personnel were good, comfortable bed, bathroom fine, could open window, adjust AC (& piped muzak next to it) and although tv older i.e. no USB/screen share, but much content English/original language content (subtitled in Portugese). Breakfast quite good too EUR 15, bar too open pm and room service (outside contractor) was good, can order online & quite fast, with some funky packaging.

Friendly and helpful staff, super clean and comfortable room. Felt luxurious with bathtub + bidet, nice quiet street and couldn't hear much hallway noise or noise between rooms. AC worked great, location fantastic - lots of food & drink options within walking distance (great cafe for coffee and brunch directly across street), safe area. 3 mins walk to downtown location of Sixt car rental, which was convenient for us. Was impressed w overall value, would stay again!

The staff was amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, shopping at Ave da libertad,parqués de Pombal, hop and off tour buses, 20minutes walk to rossio square...

I didn't like the fact that I couldn't check in before 2pm. I know it's the norm, i did communicate with the hotel about the time of the arrival, yet i was told to come back in two hours. It happened to a few guests, but the hotel has to keep in mind, and be more considerate with travellers from different time zone. I was super jetlagged, yet i had to find somewhere to go. At least they had my luggage in storage. Also , i know i booked an economy room , it was spacious but the TV didn't have to be a 13inch computer monitor

Staff at reception were so helpful and so friendly, they couldn't do enough for us to make us welcome and provide us with information on the location. Breakfast was great, there was good choice (Pasteries were delicious!) Location was great. It's less than a 5 min walk to the nearest metro station (Parque) and it's very easy to get to down town where everything is within walking distance. Hotel and surrounding area was lovely and quiet.

Nothing - you can't really fault the quality of stay for the price you pay.

Access/ location staff was friendly and was trying their best.

The cleaning service was too late, sometime after 3pm. TV size was poor. Parking space too tight and electric gate not working. Have to ring the reception to go in and out. Restaurant closed which was annoying for late or weekend food specially when most restaurant around the area only works during office hours.

Very nice hotel, super clean, extremely comfortable beds. The staff is super friendly and takes time to give a lot of recommendations for the stay in Lisbon. Rooms are super quiet and the breakfast is just amazing. You should definitely book the breakfast. The only minus was our shower. The holder was very low and not adjustable, so we had to hold the shower head. Apart from that our stay was perfect.

Shower needs some repairs to match the quality of the hotel

This hotel has small patisserie, coffee, and eating places close to it. The large shopping mall Le Corte L'eglise is close also. This mall has a great food mall on the top floor with lots of choices of delectable food. We could taxi to all of the sights in Lisbon for 5 to 20 euros. The hotel called for our taxis and they were there within 5 to 10 minutes. The hotel also arranged for a one day tour of Sintra and the coastal area north of Lisbon with a local provider (great tour and reasonable cost). The hotel also has a wonderful breakfast (15 euros/person), but one can also walk within a block and choose any one of 4 or 5 small cafes for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The tv system could be better (we were out most of the time so it did not affect us much). We somehow (personal error in using remote) lost the tv signal and we were not able to reconnect. We reported it but they were not able to fix the issue during the remainder of our stay (2 nights).

The location of the hotel is very good, near to the metro. There was air condition in the room and it worked. The staff was helpful and kind.

Breakfast was excellent, but every day the same. In the bathroom the handrail was missing, only the broken tile showed its place. The television was an old device, format 4:3. We had an attic room, it was smaller than the rooms at other floors.

Good size room with all the basic amenities. Decent location two blocks from a Metro station and not far from restaurants, cafés and shops. We did not take advantage of the optional breakfast or nice on-site bar/restaurant.

Interior (fire escape) facing room. No iron or board (which we requested and were able to use for only one day). No convenient electric plugs and no USB ports.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of choice of pastries & beverages, only 2 types of egg, same daily. otherwise quite okay.

Tea & coffee choice was limited. we were 2 people in the room and there were 2 different sachets of tea and coffee. if we both preferred the same it was not possible also no milk was supplied. Noise from neighbouring rooms.
