the taxi ride back to the airport was a disaster- reception did not clarify which airport - the taxi took us to a different airport - the distance between the 2 airports was 1 hr shortest way - paid 2500 Turkish lira for the taxi - a lot of money and waste of time.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul - Sirkeci and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Istanbul's historical center, as it's within walking distance of many famous landmarks and tourist sites. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. They provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to see in the area, which made my trip all the more enjoyable. The rooms at the hotel were cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed to feel at home. I especially appreciated the comfy bed and the quiet atmosphere, which allowed me to get a good night's rest after a long day of exploring the city. Finally, I have to mention the hotel's breakfast, which was delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, including traditional Turkish fare and more familiar options like pastries and eggs. I looked forward to starting each day with this delicious spread. Overall, I highly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul - Sirkeci for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore Istanbul's many treasures. The location, staff, rooms, and breakfast are all top-notch, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The location was super convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived a good few hours before check-in but Burak at reception was super helpful and accommodating us while our rooms were being vacated and cleaned. They managed to give us two rooms next to each other which was super helpful and thanks to Rabia for the complimentary tea while we waited. Also, I really appreciated Burak's personal know on our door after he had heard my son was unwell. Housekeeping was also excellent.

Perhaps a larger variety of food on offer for breakfast.

Very close walking distance to all the mosques, clean hotel, great staff, breakfast could be improved and served outside rather than in basement. Overall fantastic hotel and decent.

Hotel's Location is great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good you could order fried egg, omelet, ... with a cold plate and plain coffee or tea. But if you order cappuccino or any other type of coffee you have to pay separately for them.

The hotel is not really a 4 star hotel but I guess it is the case mostly in Istanbul. However it was very clean. We had a king room, but there were stains on the wallpaper or on the bathroom's stone due to being used so long. It looks like a normal double room rather than a king room , though, it was totally clean. We also had a connected family room, everything was great there, but the room was not sound proof.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying, and I must say that the housekeeping services provided were nothing short of abysmal. I feel compelled to share my disappointing encounter so that others can steer clear of this establishment. First and foremost, cleanliness is the foundation of any hotel stay, and it was evident that the housekeeping staff at this hotel completely disregarded this fundamental principle.

The hotel staff gave us such a warm and hospitable welcome on arrival. We've had a large room with very comfortable beds and all necessary facilities. Breakfast was very good. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the main attractions of Istanbul, restaurants, shops, tramstation, metrostation and the Ferry Terminal. My sister and I want to say a big THANK YOU to the staff of Doubletree by Hilton Sirkeci for making us feel at home during our 14 nights stay at the hotel. Görüşürüz.

Great location. Staff was really helpful and did their best to make sure I was happy with the accomodation. Excellent service. Will book again if I have to stay in this area. It's worth it.

Last 2 nights had a noisy family next door. It wasn't the screaming child that bothered me..at the end of the day it's just a child ..but the loud mother. I had to call the reception couple of times both nights as it was really difficult to get some rest. The information about the hotel's spa on booking is not accurate.

Although the breakfast was not included in the booking,Breakfast was given for free for one day Location is very close from all attractions and markets Staff were very friendly and supportive Very clean hotel and rooms

Sanitary products are not available like toothpaste

The location is really good. Very close to restaurants, markets and the tram station. They upgraded our room and we were given breakfast for free. Food was tasty. Staff were very kind and helpful.

The door of the bathroom could be better. It is a sliding door and sometimes it didn’t close properly. It wasn’t a big issue, but it is better to have a door with a lock.
