W Dubai - The Palm

Everyone was very friendly

Explanation of the use of restaurants with half board should be on the booking.com website. No information to what the restrictions they have are mentioned i.e. you can only have up to 150 aed worth of food/drinks (which is not alot) Also when I did speak to the staff prior to arrival they did not let me know the conditions they have with half board, which cost me extra money sadly.

Warmth welcome and accomodated us with a late check out. The spa facilities were amazing and had a relaxing time by the pools.

Suprised that the breakfast wasnt a big variety compared to the other W hotels i have been around the world. The room was dark in deco so was the hallway.nicer to have lively & bright colors in those kind of hotels by the beach!!

staff , food , maintainance

the room given to us had views of construction and a lot of noise as well considering the resort was not full they could have given us a room without the construction site and noise.

Everything was amazing, pool, sea and food. We loved the rooms, there are beautiful, clean, huge and the reception and decor is amazing. I highly recommend this place. The guys at the pool Faro and Daniel from Kenya were amazing! They worked so hard to help us, took us nice pictures and made our stay . Thank you Faro and Daniel, we will be back again soon

The lady who checked us in didn’t give us all the important information about booking the cabana a day before at weekends. How awful, and we wanted to upgrade to a sea view but she was just not listening to us and in the end we just took our room. She needs a little training, l don’t remember her name.

It's just a suggestion to add portable AC units by the pool.

Everything was brilliant. The Room was big and clean. We qualified for an elite breakfast by being Marriot Bonvoy members - so we ate in Torno Subito, but we did have the buffet breakfast a few times and it was brilliant. The WetDeck and Beach were great, water was provided in ice buckets to keep everyone hydrated. It's worth mentioning that on a Saturday & Sunday there is a DJ on the Wetdeck and the music is so loud you can barely hear yourself think. Great if you like that party vibe, but not amazing for a relaxing day by the pool bar. The location is both good and bad - it's right at the end of the Palm so you get an amazing view across the bay back to the marina and the business district; this is especially spectacular in the evening at Akira Back, which is the Japanese Fusion restaurant on the top floor. I'd strongly recommend having an evening meal there - it is incredible. Most of all, the service was impeccable. It was almost embarrassing how well we were treated - there's service and then there's luxury service. Would 100% go back to W hotel on the Palm, but also be likely to consider W hotels elsewhere in Dubai and around the world!
