Situated in a lovely village. Comfortable room with easy access, as requested, and charming discreet decor. Small bathroom with good shower. Appreciated the small fridge with real milk for tea or coffee. Continental breakfast was delicious and very much enjoyed the choice of fresh fruits, including apricots, strawberries and nectarines, presented with Greek yoghourt. Very welcoming hosts. A delightful overnight stay. Thank you.

Probably my fault for failing to notice but the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening. Parking was limited. Because of the location, there seemed not to be wi-fi reception.

What a great surprise this place. Beautiful region, picturesque scenery, easy access to the best vilas of Cotswolds such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway, Burford if you have a car. The owners are great, kind and made everything possible for our stay to be amazing. Delicious breakfast with coffee, milk, fruits, jam, butter, greek yogurt, honey, granola, toast just made. We also had the chance to have a dinner one of the nights and the food was really good. Nice room, with beautiful views, silence, good size, clean. Lovely surroundings. We love our stay and whish to have the chance to be back some day.

Single beds a little small, but ok for 2 nights. Would be good to have some shower hangging for shampoo inside shower.

Breakfast was continental and just perfect, fresh produce and nice and light. The coffee was exceptional. We had dinner on our second night and it was also exceptional. Traditional Greek food, compliments to Stamatis's wife, so flavour some and great size portions. The bar is quiet and just what we wanted. Stamatis is just so accomadating and such a lovely, gentle and friendly person. Our room was the Swan's Nest and was just so lovely, the bed was so comfortable and the view from our room was stunning. We had such an amazing stay here at The Stag's Head and simply cannot wait to return. We travelled from Dublin to visit Sibford school and the location of the Stag's Head was just perfect. I cannot rate this place highly enough. Stamatis keep up the great work and we look forward to staying here again. Exceptional place. Stamatis you are a legend! ευχαριστώ

I stayed overnight to experience the Greek night and I wasn't disappointed. I sat at the table with all the village regulars and they made me feel at home. The food was authentic and delicious, the bar staff and landlords Faith and Statimus made me feel very welcome. The next day I had the beef Sunday roast and it was superb and really generous portions as well The Stags Head is everything a village local pub should be, warm, friendly and welcoming and the B&B rooms are clean and comfortable with all amenities catered for. Have pre-booked my next stay in September thanks

Nothing, my stay was excellent

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at the Stag's Head. The location is lovely. The outside areas are greatly enhanced by lots of lovely planted pots. It has a Mediterranean feel. I had chicken Souvlaki and my husband Lamb Moussaka. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed our continental breakfast in the attractive dining area. The staff were excellent, the owner taking the trouble to chat to all guests. If you want a quiet break in a rural spot complete with a historical church at the top of the road this is it!!

The Stag's Head is a beautiful family run Inn. Welcome is warm, and the building very picturesque, being thatched and absolutely charming. Our room was not large but was very clean, comfortable and attractively decorated (Swallow Theme). Ensuite bijou ,but modern and clean. Wonderfully peaceful too! Wifi excellent though no telephone reception. Pub is in a dip and has very thick walls! There is phone reception in car park if you really need it! Excellent continental breakfast is included in the price. Enjoyed a tasty Greek Themed dinner on the first night Excellent value all round

Parking is a bit limited but we were luckily able to get a space both nights

What a great place to stay. I arrived a little late due to British traffic so was unable to sample the evening menu, but the hospitality of the staff was second to none. The local patrons in the pub were friendly and we had open conversations about all sorts. You felt like you had known them all for some time and you felt welcomed. My room was nice, had all the things necessary for an overnight stop, the bed was comfortable and I enjoyed my rest. Breakfast was continental (cereals / fruit / pastries) and there was plenty to choose from.

The pub/ B&B is situated in one of the most beautiful English country villages that are imaginable. After we had parked our car against the kerb opposite we took our valises and were shown the small but well equipped room which comprised a mini fridge as well as a kettle and a tray with tea coffee & a small carton of orange juice each. which had a small but efficient shower room and toilet and a comfortable double bed. Afterviewing our room we sat outside in the sun at a table on the small courtyard where we had arranged to meet some friends whom we had not seen for some time.and enjoyed some very good bitter. That evening we chose from a variety of Greek meals which were extremely tasty and good value for money. We stayed on at the pub that evening [not far from Banbury on a winding unlit country road, we were extremely pleased that we arrived and left in the daylight hours! ] That evening in the pub we met some delightful villagers [and their friendly cat!] and were made most welcome. The somewhat saturnine Greek publican, who lived up to an authentic Greek island extra in, say, the Venetian nobleman Francesco da Mosto's TV show we watched recently on the Greek islands made us welcome. His English wife Faith & their son also made us most welcome.Next morning we were served our continental breakfast which comprised muesli with Greek yoghurt as well as toast served with homemade jam and marmalade and very fresh coffee. All in all a very pleasant stay!

Staff were excellent. Very friendly. As it was a local pub, and Queens Jubilee, pub got busy. But not only did the family who run the pub give as their time and attention, the locals in the pub were really friendly. This made our visit all the more memorable. It had a lovely atmosphere. The evening meal we had was amazing, and breakfast the next morning, delicious. It was not at all noisy (just lovely to hear cheerful chatter) , and locals did not stay in pub late, so there was no chance of sleep being disturbed. Breakfast consisted of Fresh fruit, all types of cereal and Greek Yoghourt. Excellent coffee and fresh hot toast. We could not have asked for better. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and would love to visit again, if travelling in that direction. The photo is taken from our bedroom (at the side of the pub) out of our private front door from room. Pub appears to only have two rooms to let, so again it makes you feel more a welcomed visitor, rather than an impersonal guest.

There was nothing for us not to like.
