From the outside, it is a normal red brick house. You go inside and everything changes. The kitchen is sparkling, the fridge is as clean as crystal, the cereal boxes are clean, the microwave is like brand new like from a box, no crumbs on the floor from the previous person who ate. Corridors without dust in the corners, and cobwebs. Room - double bed, TV, Fridge, clean - WHITE!!!! towels, no shades of pink in the shower, toilet - you can prepare breakfast on it. I highly recommend and greet the service. Opposite the pub with food, fish and chips, Chinese takeaway, COOP .Everything in place nearby. In the morning, no door slamming, quietly everyone pays attention to the neighbor, it's as important as cleanliness.

The room was very clean with a spacious room and bathroom. It was very useful having a little fridge and there were multiple TV channels - both a bonus.

I didn't like that there were no staff on site as I was travelling alone. (I hadn't got the code for the front door in time as I didn't have email on my phone and had booked last minute but I spoke to someone on the phone with the tel number provided and they were very helpful and told me the door code and room number). I would have liked the option of butter on my toast!

Clean, well presented. Staff obviously doing jobs (washing up would disappear, breakfast stocked, cutlery stacked) but so unobtrusive we didn't actually see anyone. Who minds if looked after though? Loved the fridge in the room because see above

My son is coeliac. Rather than risk cross contamination, owners suggested we brought our own food. We 'lost' a little money on breakfast therefore but we would rather that than a blasé attitude and illness.

General cleanliness was spot on. The shower, sink and loo were free of any marks, mould etc. Clean linens, and extra pillows (I tend to like my pillows high so this was great). A small selection available for breakfast but there is a mini fridge in the room so if wanted to you could bring a couple of extra bits, and there is a microwave available in the kitchen as well as a toaster.

Though the room is generally really clean (even the top of the plug sockets are dusted! 😊) the draws are a bit dusty where you pull to open them. That is the only thing I really noticed.

The host was brilliant, very kind and caring. Breakfast was good with a variety of cereals, teas, coffees and breads. The bed was quite comfortable and the check-in process was smooth as the host already provided us a code of the door.

There was no water in the taps on the day of check-out. The host was very apologetic about this and explained that due to cold weather, the pipes are frozen. Stairs are not comfortable as they are quite inclining.

The location to the Tythe Barn Wedding Reception only 2 minutes by car. The White Horse pub opposite is really good and also allows parking for the guest house. Breakfast was available in a nice room downstairs. It was a help yourself to cereals, toast, tea, coffee, fruit juice.

A larger duvet on the double bed would have been great, otherwise it was adequate. Maybe apple juice as well as orange juice being available for the breakfast as my son is allergic to orange juice so he didn't have a choice.

Breakfast facilities good and easy to operate for a 'home from home' meal! Effortless code entryway.

Toilet roll holder loose and caused toilet roll to fall off, which was a nuisance. Bathroom fittings 'tired' and in need of renewal e.g. toothbrush holder. Did not like damaged lamp shades, made the room look uncared for and uninviting.

Very simple and hassle-free to deal with. It is so well arranged that I did not even see the host or other guests during my stay. Quite minimalist, but clean and safe. Good kitchen downstairs.

If you have large suitcases/luggage you might struggle a bit taking it up and down the stairs as the passages are a bit narrow.

Nice place, good rooms and good kitchens. Very affordable, will probably use this place again if im staying in bicester.

Something minor not serious but I don't drink dairy milk so i wish there was alternative milk. More vegan friendly options would be a suggestion but then again the food is free so im not mad.
