Very Comfortable in large room. Excellent Breakfast but pity Evening meal not available

Location very good but poor condition of neighbouring property detracted

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. The hotel was very central to Bicester with lots of parking.

Obviously the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment under new ownership. It will be nice when they can staff the restaurant for breakfast and other meals. Unfortunately we didn’t have a good sleep because our room backed on to the Main Street and market square. We were disturbed by a group of rowdy people the police did arrive eventually. I know the hotel cannot help this but perhaps there would be some sort of sound insulating solution - hard with sash windows I realise.

Great communications prior to arriving. Professional & freindly welcome. Felt right at home, we were shown to our rooms and spoke about the history of the building. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean. the bed in our room was very comfortable &. we had a massive bathroom. We were very pleased.

Our room, as right at the top of the building was a little bit hot, but it was an unusally warm morning. There was a fan and this did help. Maybe two could have been better, or another cooler or aircon? But I wouldn't let that put me off satying again.

Really big comfy bed, lovely quiet room. Historic old coaching house, so wonky floors and twisty stairs - loved it! Excellent breakfast deal - juice, coffe/tea and your choice of meal for £10 - i had avocado and bacon on toast with poached egg - delightful!! My husband had the full english! Free parking in secure place.

I've stayed here a few times over the last year. The new owners/staff have really made a good effort. Breakfast (although not included like many other places) was extremely good and quality fresh produce. Recommended.

The price and location

The staff were not trained at all or just didn't know or didn't want to know and the two rooms I booked were not cleaned the following day and no tea facilities were left and when asked oh that's not right.The water pressure was so low you could not have a shower

It was ideal for our vist to The Bicester Heritage Centre

On the day we arrived, they had shut the kitchen due to a hot water problem so we were unable to have an evening meal or breakfast the next morning. These things happen but it wouldn't put me off staying there again

Great value and perfect location. The landlady provided a group discount for the breakfast which was genuinely one of the best pub breakfasts I’ve had.

The landlady was a bit eccentric and drunk from the night before. She was nice but a bit much for the early hours of the morning.

Lovely old building in Bicester, with a big spacious room. Great location for where we needed to be and only a short walk into the town centre.

Carpets were a bit worn in the bedroom and the shower leaked.

Very friendly staff, especially the lovely lady at the bar counter. Very helpful, gave us a lot of good information.

None. It’s not a big cooperative chain hotel so there is full of characters
