We just got back from the most amazing stay at the Mardi Gras!! I went with my mum and everything about this place is just perfect! It made our 3 night stay in Blackpool so special. It felt like home from the minute we arrived. The decor is just incredible with so much attention to detail. So clean and sparkly and fun! The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Particular thanks to Mark the bar manager who never stopped and always went the extra mile to help with a smile! The breakfast was outstanding with a great selection of cereals, fresh fruit, juices and even crumpets!! The cooked breakfast was really hot and well cooked too. Our room was spotless and we even got a double and a single bed. The bedding was crisp, white and clean as were the big fluffy towels. We loved sitting on the terrace in the sunshine and met some great people having a beer and a chat. The location is perfect and on a lovely quiet street away from the hussle. We would definetely be returning and i will tell all my friends about the magic that is Mardi Gras. We came to try and replicate Benidorm for my mum and we absolutely did!! Thank you to all the gorgeous staff at Mardi Gras....if i could give you more stars I would! Beautiful all round....standing ovation from here!!! xxx

I stayed at the Mardi Gras with my Yorkie "TOBY" and it was for my 60th Birthday and from walking through the door, I was greeted by friendly staff and helped to my room with my luggage. The ensuite room was very clean, had brewing facilities, fridge, ironing board & Iron, Nice clean lining, comfortable bed good night sleep. Lovely helpful staff, Great entertainment and a great bar with very reasonable priced drinks. Lovely Breakfast nice selection.

Well what can I say. Just returned home last night, after a 5 night break.Id only booked for 4 but stayed on an extra night, due to having such a great time. It was my second time in Blackpool (the 1st was 26 years ago) so I didn't know what to expect and I can honestly say, I had the most fabulous time John and Tony are outstanding hosts and made me feel so welcomed. I knew straight away I was going to have a good time, judging by the amount of repeat visitors I spoke with. I met some fabulous people and left feeling loved. Definitely made a few friends for life. ❤️ Breakfast was top drawer every time I managed to get downstairs for it. Thank you Lisa. Drinks are more than reasonably priced. and the cabaret and shows are outstanding. Nathan and Aarron, both top barman, are both knowledgeable and helped out when I couldn't decide what to try next, on the top shelf 🙈 Oh and I can't forget Charlotte and Donna. Both very helpful with making sure I had whatever I needed. If you're looking to be entertained, looked after and meet some great people then book yourself in here. I'll definitely be back soon. ❤️

I can't think of a thing I didn't like.

Staff excellent, fellow stayers and bar visitors good. Made ourselves and our two miniature cockapoos more than welcome. All in all great.

If we stay here again we wouldn't like the room above the bar as there is too much noise for the dogs. Big one, the breakfast although excellent could have been hotter, maybe I should've said at the time. Again all in all great.

Great hotel, very friendly owners and we were made to feel welcome. The bar downstairs is great and was very lively which was nice to see. Great location for touring the lgbtq+ bars which are all really local. It feels like the rooms are been renovated and downstairs looked great.

Nothing really. I think the room may need a little refresh but looks like that is already happening

We liked very thing. The staff made us feel welcome from we first checked in. All the staff are nice and friendly nice spacious rooms clean though out the hotel. Met the guests and locals made some new friends. Recommend Mardi Gras to anyone. We will going back next year. Thank you to all the staff for a great weekend kind regards Tami-Louise and David

There is nothing we didn't like at the hotel . No complaints about Mardi Gras. Clean and friendly nothing is to much trouble.didnt take any photos of the room lobby or bathroom and outside.kind regards Tami-Louise and David

Both myself and friend were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble My little dog was also made welcome. As a disabled person the help with cases and changing room to a lower floor was very appreciated

Wasn't told breakfast time and just missed breakfast however a sandwich was made available

The owners John and Tony also all the staff were so welcoming friendly and made you feel at home. Our dog was a star attraction for them all. She was spoilt with 2 sausages at breakfast.

Can say I disliked anything about this hotel. Fabulous 👌

As well as location, room, amenities being excellent, the staff couldn’t do more for us. We asked for more milk pots for the room, they appeared immediately. We needed more towels for our 3 night stay, they were on the bed within 30 mins. The full English breakfast was the best I’ve had and there was even fresh strawberries and blueberries, crumpets, special teas, all on display every morning. We had suite 210 and tho there were a few flights of stairs to get there ( we needed the exercise after that brekky!) it was in a quiet location and thanks to that and the luxury bedding we had a great night’s sleep. The drinks prices were very reasonable and there was entertainment on Friday and Saturday as well as a disco. The guys were caring, professional and courteous and they set a very high bar for if we stay anywhere else in future. Thank you to John, Tony, Mark, Donna and the rest of team Mardi Gras!!

My god this place is special ! I can honestly say I have never been to a place like it. It’s not just a bar with a good hotel attached. It is a community hub, a family that everyone from any walk of life is welcomed in to the minute you walk through the door. John and Donna truly are beautiful people. Be proud of what you have created boys it’s special.
