The Trentham Hotel

Loved Blackpool had a lot of places to eat and drink, the b and b did breakfasts in the morning too between 9 And 1o am. We loved Blackpool zoo and the sandstone water park , they is a spa , these are best pre booked thou. We loved being a close taxi ride to the beach and this b and b being this side ensured we got a good nights sleep. This b and b didn't host stag hen parties which was fantastic so for families who needed quiet got that rest. The cabs was cheap too. They is also a whetherspoons spoons near by this b and b , for meals cheap . The host was friendly too and gave accommodation for families and people couples that needed quiet. I would recommend this side of black pool if that's what u need quiet and rest at night.

I didn't like they wasn't places to eat next to the b and b If I didn't go out to eat but they is a b and b close to the b and b , 3 mins taxi ride. Cheap food etc.

A great wee find. We were very happy with our stay here. Graham was a fantastic host and the the doggy assistants were absolutely the friendliest good boys :) The room was ideal for us it was spotlessly clean and smelled so fresh. The beds were really comfortable and we slept like logs. The breakfast was lovely, my 9 year old says the bacon was the best he ever had. We were a few minutes walk from North pier which was really convenient as from there we could access the whole of the promenade and trams. Would defiantly book in here again when we are down next time for a few days.

Came to stay for a couple of days with my children. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room was on the top floor and as expected did get a little warm what with heat rising but a fan was provided and we all slept soundly. Graham the host was amazing, welcoming and his dogs are a bonus. Breakfast is 1 of the best iv had. Order is taken and it comes out quickly, the breakfast bar for tea, coffee, cereal and toast is well laid out and we were all craving that breakfast when we got home. Will definitely hope to stay here again on our next visit. Thankyou so much Graham

Nothing to complain about at all

I found Graham (owner) a very polite man & would help you if anything was needed. He’s rooms I.e beds, carpets, bed sheets were clean & he runs the hotel good. He is strict on some policies but that’s why he gets good ratings because he wants he’s customers being in a tidy clean environment which he’s hotel is. If I was an owner of an hotel, I would most definitely run it how he does. He understands the importance of children & families being in a clean hotel I.e rooms etc. I don’t think you would see any tacky carpets, alcohol spills anywhere in the hotel or other rooms due to my room being comfortable & been well looked after by the owner. The beds were comfy & most definitely not mouldy like some other B&B’s usually have. I had bedroom with own shower & toilet. The room size was enough room for myself & my son. Well done Graham. OOOH not to mention the 2 dogs who love the attention of everyone & well friendly with children. They are well trained so I wouldn’t worry about children being around them as my son is 4yrs old & they loved playing with him.

I don’t think there were any as it’s close to town, takeaways, the north pier, train station etc. quite location compared to central & south so would benefit families with children.

Everything was amazing. The place was so clean from the doorway to your room just pristine. The owner was very friendly. The room was lovely. The beds were very comfy, good pillows. Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom was a nice touch. Plenty of hangers and drawer space. With it being more to the top of the strip aswell it was so quiet and nice to sleep in but still only a 10 minute walk away from all the shops, arcades etc. Breakfast was brilliant, quality food, hot and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back.

I can't think of any negatives.

Great little hotel, friendly owner (and dogs!) Perfect location close to the train station at the top of town where I wanted to be, but also very quick and easy access down to the prom too. Breakfast had a lot of choice on cereals, plus hot food was served. Single room was average size for blackpool, bed was comfortable

Had room at the front, so can get a bit noisy early hours from people leaving bars and clubs (of which there are a few close by - positive) and I need to sleep with a window open. Nothing else

The Trentham is a well presented hotel very well run and looked after. Graham was an outstanding host and made our stay without a doubt. We was made to feel very comfortable indeed. The whole place is really nicely decorated and well laid out. We stayed in room No7 and was very happy and comfortable with the room and it’s facilities. The bathroom was spot on and everything worked. The whole place was clean and tidy from top to bottom. I would like to add that Graham went the extra mile and after speaking to me about my dairy allergy he went straight to the shops and bought me some oat milk. It was unexpected when he passed it to me the next morning at the breakfast table, I was quite taken aback to see how thoughtful that really was.

I have absolutely nothing to mention at all.

On arrival it was clear that it was going to be a lovely stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and the host Graham was friendly and helpful. Although it was in a reasonably busy area for nightlife we didn’t hear a thing. It was perfectly located for us as it was only a 5 minute walk to the Opera House.

Only thing we struggled with was the size of the sink in the bathroom as it was difficult to get your face in to wash without banging the shelf but this didn’t spoil our stay.

The food was excellent, friendly landlord making sure you had what you wanted. As i only drink decaf coffee this was the only place where i didnt have to use my own . Ghe fact

The fact that the room was only cleaned when we went in and maybe a change of towels xxx

What an amazing hotel, very clean, owner Graham was very helpful, nothing to much trouble, The breakfast was out of this world, worth every penny paid to stay here, one of the best I've stayed in Blackpool modern, hotel would highly recommend, great location for all the bars pubs and clubs, town centre on the doorstep, will definitely be rebooking to stay here again Thank you To all the staff for looking after us 👌👍
