Great location for North shore. Easy to park the car, 2 long stay car parks close by with plenty of spaces. I’m glad we chose this area to stay as it was close to everything but just that little walk from central pier that it was not so manic. I’d definitely come back again. Host was helpful yet also left us in peace.

The hotel is being refurbished and we were one of the first to stay. Our room (9) was freshly decorated with a comfy bed, desk and large en-suite toilet/shower room. The room was small but adequate and there was free WiFi, wall mounted TV and tea and coffee facilities. It would benefit from having a clothes rail but I expect that will be fitted shortly. It looks as though there will be a bar, lounge and breakfast room also but this is a work in progress. Location is perfect just near Funny Girls in the gay area. The owner Arran said that he only recently bought it along with the hotel next door which he intends to knock through to make a large hotel.
