Location was by far the best in town as far as we could tell. Close to shops and the main bridges to the village's shopping and bridges.

This is huge: there needs to be a better way of explaining how to get to the property. We drove around and around, asked people all over the place until one completely random lady happened to on vacation and stayed there last time she was in town so could direct us. What if we didn't find her or anyone else as the daylight was rapidly fading and we would have missed so much if we had to continue to look for the hotel. It took up WAY too much time and could easily have been remedied by better location details.

Excellent location right in the heart of Bourton-on-the-water. The host was brilliant and very attentive, and the staff knew who we were without telling them each morning for breakfast. The breakfast was included and the perfect amount of food for the day. The room was very clean and had a lovely view. Comfortable bed and well decorated room. The room was good value for money considering prices of other accommodation in the same area.

The room was quite small, but expected at the top of an old building, very creaky floor, the window had to be open at night as it was very warm, but you can hear everything outside, and whenever anyone flushed their toilet on the same floor you could hear it clearly. The blind was broken, so didnt go down all the way. The shower tray also filled up so could only have quick showers and had to keep turning water off in fear of it overflowing. The room was also very dark as it only had one small window and the main light wasn't very strong.

We went to Bourton on the Water for a family holiday, so we had booked two rooms. Each one of them has its own unique character and both were cosy, spacious, clean, the beds were very comfortable and overall we had all one needs for a nice stay. However, what made our time exceptional was the hospitality, friendliness & care to each detail of the Chestnut B&B staff. To start with, they emailed us in advance to warn us Bourton on the Water gets very busy on the weekends and advised us to book places for dinner. I followed their recommendation and both times we had great dinners. Once we checked it, they offered us a complimentary cream tea which was a real treat. Lastly, we had to change our travel plans as our return train was cancelled, so they kindly changed our breakfast time at the last minute to accommodate our plans. I have no words to thank them for the exceptional service!!!

There were many things to like about the Chestnut BnB! The location is perfect, right near the heart of town, but tucked around a corner and very quiet. We loved our room, very spacious, quaint and comfortable. And breakfast was tasty and I loved having options. The banana bread, peanut butter and yogurt was my favorite! Isabella and the manager, I'm sorry I can't find the card she gave me!, were so friendly, hard-working, accommodating and helpful with letting us store luggage, pass on info, etc..

We are struggling to come up with something we didn't like.

A B&B full of character, and perfectly located for bars, restaurants, as well as being a perfect base from which to see many other sights and villages throughout the Cotswolds. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and there was decent onsite parking available.

There was nothing about Chestnut Bed and Breakfast that I didn't like, so this question really doesn't apply. I think that the above pros would have outweighed any cons had there been any, in any case.

The breakfast was really good, and the staff was very welcoming, hospitable and friendly! Everything was neat, clean and tidy and well-kept. We will definitely come back to Chestnut B&B again. Highly recommended.

At first, it was weird that the structure of the building was not "straight", but it is a very old building. This is something to get used to, but so are most old buildings. I won't say that we did not like it, it is just some getting used to and actually to appreciate as it is a very old building.

The b&b is situated round the corner of the Main Street and may not have the best view in all rooms but the room was very clean, comfy and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast the next day was really delicious and organised really well. Friendly staff who communicated greatly and the location itself is perfect for a day/ weekend trip. The room had a sofa, tv and teas with a. Communal fridge in the hallway with bottled cool water and milk if you fancied a brew in your room after a long hike. The bed was really comfy and easy to sleep on and the room was heated so we didn’t get cold or too warm.

The only thing would be the view but you’re going to spend all your time outside so I wouldn’t think it was ever a deal breaker

Perfect location with free car parking on site or nearby. Welcoming, user helpful & efficient staff member (sorry we didn't have your name). Room 7, very comfortable, lovely ambience/decor, attractive outlook, very warm radiator heating, cosy comfortable bed & flat screen tv. Highly recommended this room!

Shower thermostat very tricky but we mastered it & tiny towels. Eating breakfast off site on our second morning (Sunday) without prior warning when booking, which would have been a courtesy plus 08.30-09.30 very early for Sunday off-site breakfast. The granola was dry & not suitable for a vegan/vegetarian.

This b&b is very clean and has lovely and friendly owners. The attic room was very warm and comfortable and the cooked breakfasts were lovely. Lots of tea and coffee etc in your room and there is a fridge on the landing with water and milk which is free for guests to use and you can leave wine/beer etc in, so nice and cold on your return, also there is a free car park at the rear which is a real bonus and right in the heart of Bourton on the Water and we even had a nice view too, on entering the property you do so via rear car park and up one flight of stairs, where there is a small area with a table and this is where you book in,, would highly recommend staying here, and we plan to return

Great location, breakfast, and room size. You can't beat the location as it is central to everything in town. The breakfast was nice with options and the room was a nice size.

The heating situation was a bit uncomfortable. We arrived around 3:00 pm and the room was ice cold. We were told the heating comes on at 4:00 which it did. At night the heating was turned off again until 6:00 am. I realize the challenges in the UK with the cost of utilities being ridiculous, however, the price of the room should include appropriate warmth.
