Everything!! We’ve been travelling for 3months and I think this was our 18th accommodation. We’ve stayed in some amazing places, both in England and Europe in that time, and both agree that this was our absolute favourite. The room was clean and lovely and was attached to the dining room, so close to walk for the BEST breakfasts and to the refrigerator for our supplies. Dan and Chantal (sorry if incorrect spelling) were amazing hosts and it was lovely to get to know them a little and learn about the farm that has been in the family for 100 years. They also gave great advice about where to visit, or for a good pub meal. The location was the best, being very close to the village of Stow and not far to drive to anywhere else in the Cotswolds. One of our favourite afternoons was spent sitting on the back deck watching the sunset with a glass of wine in hand. We have told all of our friends at home in Oz about this special place and I’m sure some will be visiting in the future. Thank you, lovely people for such an enjoyable stay!

It would be crazy if anyone said there was something they didn’t like! Definitely nothing for us. 😊

Not only was location perfect . Dan and Chantal are first class hosts . I’ve never felt so welcome anywhere . When we read the reviews about the breakfasts we where looking forward to them. But no words can explain the amazing options beautifully cooked and presented in a relaxed atmosphere. From home made sour dough bread to perfect poached eggs . Our room in the dairy was spacious light and airy and the bed was so comfortable I slept the best I have in years . We can’t wait to return in the near future . It was a joy to stay with you both and meet your beautiful family . Jackie and David x

Lovely setting surrounded by countryside in a working farm. Well converted buildings with a good standard of finishes. Individual rooms entered directly from the central car park courtyard. Good size room with sensible fittings and a large window and glazed doors looking on to a grassed area. Everything clean and tidy. Breakfast area very good and quality of individually cooked to order breakfast very nice indeed.

Spoilt by a few issues many would be easily to put right so disappointing they are there at all. No obvious reception or place to checkin. Working farm means noise and dust as well as machines parked in view. Pillows very poor, needed extra, towels very rough had to be broken in, ensuite too small could have easily been a little bigger when built, shower door opens on to basin (should open to other hand) shower and ensuite have nowhere to put toiletries. Bedside lights had no shades.

A lovely quiet location on a working farm situated in lovely countryside with plenty of walking opportunities. Quiet roads around the area - it was early January though! Very helpful, pleasant and communicative couple (Daniel and Chantal) running the place. Perfectly clean and tidy with a great dining and lounge area that could be used for the large tv and a takeaway/picnic meal table. Lots of parking room and no risk to your car. Warm and friendly. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast served to you with a proper pot (or two) of tea. The generally very pleasant atmosphere of the who;e place made it very relaxing.

Nothing the whole thing as a B&B was really great and I want to emphasise that. I was however under the impression from the description, and I probably did not read it enough, that Mill Cottage was stand alone - a little cottage to ourselves with breakfast provided seperately. As it happened it almost was as we were the only guests in early January! Accordingly we thought our room wa a bit compact and there was no seating in the room. I think it could be made more obvious what the property is by maybe naming it "Mill Cottage Rooms B&B" say.

this was our first trip after getting out of a multiple lockdowns and it exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. the mattress provided us a good night sleep, the room was well designed, cookies, tea, coffee and water was provided in room, as was a lovely weighted quilt for the cold weather. we could park our car right outside our room, and there was a lovely picnic table + bench for us to have tea overlooking the sheep grazing on the fields. Dan is an impeccable cook, in his past life a baker, and in another past life specializing in meat buying, so the guy knows his food. we were provided with the most delightful options for breakfast, and were even treated to sour dough crepes as a post-breakfast dessert!

nothing really....

Chantelle and Daniel were the best hosts I could ever wished for, they were willing to go out of their way if needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Even the resident farm cat was friendly. If I ever find I am visiting anywhere near Ash farm again I will definitley be looking here for available rooms.

I wasn't there long enough.

Loved how their children invited our girl to check out the farm animals upon our arrival. The dining room was inviting with the array of books for all ages, only disappointment I had was that I didn’t take advantage of the outdoor sitting to read!

There was nothing that we didn’t like - maybe add food recommendations upon confirmation as we finally found a table at the fifth pub on our first night but thank you for the recommendation of checking out The Sheep - we went on our last night. So good!

The location was lovely, really getting away from the hussle and bussel. The hosts couldnt do enough for me & mum, made us feel very at home. The breakfasts were amazing, being asked every morning what we would like.. and then presenting us with a delisious yummy breakfast.. all round a fantastic holiday. Thank you. x

Lovely tranquil setting, peaceful and lovely to hear/ see the sheep. Our room was warm and cosy near to the breakfast room and as we arrived 7pm we dashed to Stow to get fish and chips. Dan very kindly laid out a table in the breakfast area with glasses and cutlery ready for our return. Breakfast was perfect and the bread is homemade, absolutely 5star! We got to feed the pet lambs. Wonderful stay. Will definitely return!
