Good location, 5 minute walk into Bourton. Room was clean and cosy,, bed was comfortable, slept really well Breakfast was delicious Had a Sunday roast and it was superb The staff were all really nice and friendly and helpful

Their pictures show an open fire lit and chairs so you could sit by the fire, which was the main reason i booked the Mousetrap as we love a real fire so was disappointed to find out the bar area is not like that at all its more of a restaurant and the fire was never lit even though it was February and cold. Probably would have sat in the bar in the evening if it had been cosy with the fire on The room was clean and tidy but a bit tired, could do with a makeover

Breakfast , room, and dinner all amazing, just one let down was the cheese board which sadly had a selection of two cheese , both of which were blue cheese ,one of which was was very salty. A slightly different selection would have been nicer. The crackers were lovely and a nice touch with shaped apple...very pretty.

The parking situation . If on the website you could put, where there is available parking it would take the hassle out of riding around. Not knowing the area and nearly every street having double yellow lines became a bit frustrating. The huge overnight carpark has plenty of parking, although it was a little expensive.

Love place to stay in the Cotswolds, just a short walk from the Bourton-on-Water town centre. The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. There is a great little pub/bar to get a few drinks with friendly and welcoming staff. I stayed here with my partner, my sister visiting from Canada with her fiancé, they were all pleased with the accommodation.

The kitchen was shut due to an incident so we had to go to another pub/hotel which wasn't easy to get into as both front doors were locked when we arrived. They gave us milk that was off for our coffees. I think it would have been better if The Mousetrap just offered a continental breakfast instead but hey ho that's how it goes.

Lovely picture perfect property in a great location. Had a lovely meal in the evening highly recommend it if you’re staying.

Just a few niggles really, nothing that would keep us from visiting again. Check in was not great. No info on when breakfast was and no Wi-Fi info. Walked down to have a drink and asked for it but was told it’s spotty by the bar staff so don’t bother. Breakfast was good produce but would of loved some toast. Also would of liked condiments to be given. We had no condiments or salt and pepper and we had no sugar given to us with coffee. Bulb missing in the room and the shower was scolding hot or freezing cold. Again, just minor things really and over all we enjoyed the stay.

Location of property, downstairs bar and food was great. Breakfast was amazing! The shower Under new management and what a lovely lady she is. Made us feel very welcome. I would return here for sure as the negatives are just a sign of an older building which is what we like. We had room 11 which had the biggest shower out of the other rooms our friends had but after a little nose around the empty rooms I would book room 10 next time as the light was better and the room at the end of the need was bigger so no toe stubbing.

Rooms were small even though I paid for a larger room. Very creaky floors and could hear everything through the floors from downstairs. Noise outside was from very early as we were over the kitchen and staff entrance but ear plugs sorted that out. Lack of drawers made putting underwear or t-shirts somewhere very difficult.

almost everything. we were given a little chalet type room at the side of the inn, only two other rooms there and it was very private and access could be gained without having to walk through the bar.

nothing at all major and a conversation with the manager Curtis we were told that the rooms were being refurbished soon. a little more light in the annexe rooms but it seriously didn’t spoil our stay.

The Inn is charming and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Alex and Honey went above and beyond by delivering our luggage to us at our next hotel since the Mousetrap Inn was booked so we couldn't extend our stay, and we didn't have a car. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and served with a smile and a chat. It felt like home away from home because they were so friendly.

They didn't have air conditioning and our room had only one window so with no cross ventilation it took quite a while to cool down at night.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Ambience in downstairs areas very good. Excellent breakfast with good coffee.

Our room was nicely decorated with a very good shower. Storage of our belongings for a 3 night stay was a bit limited but we managed. Our only complaint would be the comfort of the bed. For the cost of our trip we should have had a very comfortable bed. Instead, we were aware of uncomfortable springs and a lumpy mattress. It needed a good quality pocket sprung mattress. We would strongly recommend purchasing a better mattress for future customers.

Lovely cosey pub, the location was perfect and a short walk into the village. Rooms were cosey, clean, warm and comfortable Staff were friendly and helpful and swiftly made some changed to our room set up on arrival as we had accidentally been given twin beds instead of a double. Check in and out was easy. Marv the Pom Dog was a super cutie. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay again.

Parking was limited but we were fortunate enough to get a space so wasn't a problem for us.

This little pub in the heart of the Cotswolds made the perfect escape to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, hats off to the kitchen team! Room 11 was very well equipped, the bed was so soft and comfortable, also a very powerful shower really helped us to relax!

The stairs up to the room were very steep, an extra handrail would really help. Would have been nice to have water glasses provided in the room. Evening food was very expensive and there were no cheaper options available, maybe a bar menu with snack options would be a good idea.
