Very friendly hosts, really comfortable beds, the hosts kindly also drove us to the wedding venue for a small petrol fee. The B and B was very a pretty place, and perfect for hosting. The hosts kindly gave us advice about our wedding venue and the mozzies we might encounter there by the pond.

Breakfast was lovely, though we would have perhaps have appreciated a bit more bacon and sausages. Still, it was a lovely breakfast, and it kept our waistlines looking good! !

We were a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. A very warm welcome from Ria made us feel at home straight away which was really nice especially after a long journey that we had had. The bedrooms and bathroom/shower were spotless. We had everything that we needed in our rooms, from the provisions to make our own tea/coffee to toiletries and nice fresh towels, Ria went the extra miles to make sure our stay would be a comfortable one (which it definitely was)! The delicious cooked breakfast along with fresh juice, fruits and also hot drinks were spot on and just the right size for all of us and it was all included in the price! A spacious space on the driveway to park our car was extremely convenient to us especially with our big car. The free wifi was also a great bonus! We really felt at home at Burnt Mill Cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very pleased to have discovered about Burnt Mill Cottage. What a hidden gem!!

Excellent breakfast. Quiet location. Private bathroom. Broadband worked well. General standard of accommodation good

2nd chair beside 2nd bed in twin-bedded room would have been helpful, both when having tea/coffee or watching TV. 2nd chair would also have allowed 2nd guest to put their clothes on the chair beside their bed. The 2nd chair could have been removed easily if the extra floor space ever needed for extra child cots. Only other trivial detail was that soap dispenser on bathroom basin did not work; fortunately we had a spare soap in our bath bags but for other guests the absence of soap would have been a problem

Very quiet location for those that want peace and tranquillity. Very comfortable beds with a good standard breakfast of your choice. A nice touch was the provision of a chocolate biscuit.

Very limited parking but adequate. One couple staying had two cars? The tea/coffee/milk appeared sparce. We should have asked for more but didn't. Roadworks outside of the property but not an issue. Access to twin bedded room is via stairs. Could be difficult for people with mobility difficulties.

A great little private B and B, the owner takes a lot of care and pride in giving her guests a lovely experience. I was traveling for work, and only stayed one night but I would certainly recommend staying for a longer vacation. Close to local amenities and restaurants but in a very quiet and peaceful location.

We had a wonderful stay, spotless accommodation, really lovely room and a very warm welcome and felt very comfortable, would be very happy to stay again and to highly recommend to others. The only comment that 2 male members of party made was that cooked breakfast was a little small although no complaints regarding quality. Perhaps they are a little greedy as have large appetites.

Convenient location for our visit to family. Attractive house. Warm welcome from host and lovely dogs. Dressing gowns provided as private bathroom not ensuite. Hosts complied with dietary and bed cover wishes. Thank you Ria and Steve.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the decorating was fresh with tasteful finishing touches. The private bathroom had hot water, a good shower with towels and hairdryer provided There was a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning in a very pleasant dining room. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. It was a lovely place to stay.

Ideally need a car or use taxi, as located 15 min walk from station 25 mins walk from main town. Not a problem in fine weather and if fit and mobile. But we were aware of this when booking.
